“I first visited Danville Music in March and I was very impressed by the level of knowledge and customer service by the entire staff. The selection is fantastic and every visit is a learning experience about the different brands. Cameron, Nate, Dave C, Dave T, and the rest of the staff are always willing to answer question and are very friendly and courteous. Their pricing is very fair and they stand behind the products they offer. I find myself wanting to make the drive to visit the shop a couple of times a month just to say hello. Along with the music store, there are numerous other shops (Bakery, retail shops, etc.) in the shopping center that make the visit to Danville worth the drive. The staff at Danville Music are definitely the Best of the Best and I am privileged to know them. I am not a big fan of online shopping, especially for the purpose of shopping for musical instruments, but I like the layout of the website at Danville Music. I enjoy the great attention to detail that they put into the products they list on their website. I am grateful that they are here and their presence justifies why it is better to buy in person versus shopping online. Danville Music, you are all "Class Acts!!" Thank you for the service you provide to your community!!!”

“My 2 kids (2 & 4 yrs old) have been going to school here for about a year. I absolutely love the school, the teachers, and how well my kids have grown since they started here. My favorite thing is that even though they are different ages they share a classroom. This seems simple, but it's seriously made my children so much closer as siblings. My older daughter has become much more caring, and loves teaching her younger brother how to do new things. Same goes for my son. He learns so much from the older kids in the class, just by watching them do things. On top of that, I love how warm AMS is. They don't just say hi and bye, they give their kids hugs, and have a real emotional bond with each child. I've been a fan of Montessori schools for some time, and because of AMS I will keep my kids in a Montessori school for as long as I can.”

“They share their playground with the community when they are not using it, which is great and really generous. That space is great for babies and toddlers. It's open but it has a roof, so you can go when it's raining!!”

“A as Concordia school grad I can fully approve of this school and you'd be here for days if I were to recognize all the good it has done me, but to name a few; it put me ahead of my class when in comparison to my middle school class by several grades, in the years following and gave me great interpersonal skills that I still frequently rely on in my life while fostering a lifelong love of learning. I have since gained my pilot license while going to college for aviation but through the challenging curriculum, I thank Concordia for instilling the values and skills in me which majorly contributed to making my dreams a possibility.”

“This is a fantastic pre-school led by caring, responsive, and attentive staff. There was almost zero turnover in teachers during the 3 years my children attended.”

“I sent 3/4 of my kids here for pre school. They do such a great job taking care of my kids, teaching, and nurturing them. The curriculum is perfect. I sent one of my kids to a Montessori before elementary school and when she went to elementary school, she was one of the few not able to read. In Montessori’s, they let the kids do what they want, but at this school there’s a little more structure and better curriculum. I would recommend this school to anyone and wish we found out about this school sooner.”

“I cannot speak highly enough of Alamo Montessori and all that Marnie and her team have done for our little boy. We enrolled our son at 18 months, the youngest age that AM accepts (which is lower relative to many Montessori programs in the area!) While I knew that it would be a big transition for him, I was comforted when Marnie asked us to come see the program in action and let him join in for two short visits prior to our first day. At the time, he was shy, attached, and was behind in his speech. Since then, he has grown into such a confident, personable, and intuitive little boy. I attribute so much of that to AM's approach to learning. They paint, do science experiments, read books, sing songs, and play outside every day. They let the child lead with their interests, but also expose them to experiences that I don't have the patience for (or the willingness to clean up!). He is constantly coming home with new skills, songs and words in his vocabulary. He gets so much focused attention and I can tell that he is incredibly well loved and cared for. We communicate and receive photos through an app, and there are twice yearly "parent teacher conferences" where we get an update on how he is doing. He has thrived under their care. I truly believe that placing him in Alamo Montessori has been one of the best things we have done for him. I am so grateful.”

“Anu has worked with my daughter for a few months now and definitely has helped her. She notices when my daughter may be having an off day and helps to change up their sessions to engage her. We are happy with the results we are seeing”

“My daughter went to teddy bears from 18months to 2.5years, we absolutely loved it! The director, Ms. Christine does a great job of making you feel welcome and comfortable. Ms. Nina the toddler teacher is hands down amazing. My child came home with lots of art, and her vocabulary really started to grow once she started there. I would highly recommend Teddy Bears children’s center.”

“This school is absolutely amazing. The teachers are incredible. The owner is kind and accommodating. Was surprised that they even have a bad review, but then saw that the person who gave that bad review only gives bad reviews. Figures. They really prepared my son for elementary school. I really cannot thank them enough.”

“My daughter has been attending this school for a year and a half and she loves it! She has learned so much from Mrs. Mary, working parents, and her fellow students. The school is an engaging and safe learning environment. The low cost makes it the perfect early education opportunity for preschoolers.”

“College Park is the most underrated school in the area. Its broad selection of classes, strong visual and performing arts programs, competitive athletics, and accepting culture make it a place where all students can succeed. The challenges that CP faces seem to somewhat stem from lack of sufficient funds, which cause a definite drain on teacher and staff morale. There just doesn't seem to be quite enough adult support on this large of a campus. If teachers had a bit more manageable class sizes and financial resources, if the office was sufficiently staffed, if guidance counselors were hired, and if the college and career office had just a little more help, the school would be perfect. Yet still, I cannot overstate how well the school runs as most everyone there pulls together amidst district chaos at times. I have two kids who've recently graduated and are attending great four year universities. CP prepared them well - academically most well in math.”
