The sales staff was very knowledgeable and helpful and didn’t try to sell me the most expensive bike in the shop. I purchased a Trek bike and couldn’t be happier. As for my son he was there to have his bike wheel rebuilt. They quoted him a fair price and the work was done much faster than expected. We’re so lucky to have such a great bike shop here in town. “Great service! I was out for ride in Walnut Creek. We stopped in to Sports Basement for some accessories and got out on the trail. My bike chain kept jumping and I could not enjoy the ride. I thought the day was a loss. So we went back to Sports Basement to drop off the bike. Much to my surprise, one of the team members just put it up on the stand to see if they could get it tweaked in to shape real quick. The derailleur hanger was bent but more seriously, I had a frozen chain link. After swapping the chain out, I was back on the trail. They could have easily just let me drop if off for service but went the extra mile and saved my day. Just awesome. Thank you so much!”
