“PLEASE READ! This is an outstanding dentist, especially for second opinions or complex issues. Dr. Dela Cruz is truly an expert at his craft. I had my teeth knocked out in college sports and I’ve had many dentists over the years who have done work on my teeth. After seeing Dr. de la Cruz, it became apparent that past dental work wasn’t done in a way that would provide longevity and I had to continuously come back for more dental work. Not anymore! I finally can say the work has been done properly, and I have had no further issues with my crowns/veneers after Dr. de la Cruz did his magic. Another thing I feel I must note, is whenever he has given me a numbing shot, he is so gentle I can’t even feel pain. His cleanings are also so gentle that I have no gum pain when leaving his office, which is not consistent with past dental offices, I have visited. His office is comfortable and he provides TV’s you can watch a while in the chair. After my positive experiences with him, I brought my grandmother in for a second opinion after she was quoted over 14K worth of dental work and implants at the age of 87 years old. Dr. de la Cruz put together a plan for her that was a fraction of the cost and allowed her to achieve a beautiful smile in just weeks, instead of years. He is an honest dentist who won’t push unneeded work on his patients. He is upfront, and makes you feel comfortable and I highly recommend him.”

“Walking into Moraga Dental Care this morning for my long overdue teeth cleaning, Dr. Tavallei's recent investment in safety was obvious everywhere. A new normal. One of the first things I canceled at the start of the pandemic was my dentist appointment. In the 14 months I avoided rescheduling, Dr. T had moved into custom-built high-tech offices with hospital-grade ventilation, larger treatment rooms, new equipment, and new protocols. For me, that included adding my CDC vaccination card to my patient file. A new normal with one important thing unchanged: Care was just as wonderfully kind and thorough as always.
