“Hey! This is where my kids go to school and where I went when I was a young lad. Overall it is a great place to send your kids. They do have a "white slip" program where they want the parents to sign on any behavioral related problems. Good system in theory until you start receiving them because your kid "talked while standing in line". That's definitely not something that merits parent intervention. Pros: Wonderful teachers and beautiful campus Cons: White slip program. Back in my day, Mrs. North just looked slyly at me challenged me to do better. We knew... we knew.”

“My son has been attending since he was 3, he’s 4.5 now and I have to say how much I’ve always loved this place! He has learned so much!! The teachers and owner as very nice and when my son began attending he cried from separation anxiety and they really took the time to hold him and make sure he was okay. They also have animals there (which we liked), and a huge backyard to play in. They focus on all areas of learning as well as socialization. I’m so happy my son goes there, we will be sad to leave for kindergarten.”

“I hopped on here because I was shocked to see any negative reviews. My little guy has been attending Kids Town for over 3 years now since he was 5 months old. The staff is the most attentive, genuine, caring, and knowledgeable childcare professionals I could possibly imagine and we feel so lucky to have Kids Town be our child's second home. Working in education myself, and with my husband being a wildland firefighter, they have also been accommodating to our sometimes hectic schedule. It feels so nice to know my son is in good hands and somewhere he is truly happy and loved each and every day. I could not say enough good things about my experience and I have successfully referred many friends and coworkers to their services as well.”

“As other reviewers have already indicated, Sunny Patch Preschool is fabulous! When my husband and I first started to search for a preschool for our son, we were worried that we weren't going to find a place that met both our expectations AND the personality of our son. Fortunately, our search led us to Sunny Patch. Ms. Jami's K-1 teaching background, combined with her Montessori training and her own creativity, result in a wonderfully balanced program where young students of all personalities and abilities thrive. She's caring, attentive, and fun. As a teacher myself, I really think Ms. Jami gets right to the heart of what preschool is all about. She does the things mentioned by others (themed lessons, progress reports, healthy snacks...), but she does more too! She provides a safe and nurturing environment that focuses heavily on play and socialization. Our son (age 4) is beginning to read, counts to 100, does simple addition and subtraction, and more. However, when we talk about Sunny Patch, he mostly shares the details of what he played with and with whom, what sort of stories he and his friends pretended or what new toy or game Ms. Jami brought out that day. For him, school is simply where he goes to have fun. The fact that he's learning along the way just comes naturally. Our son still has another year at Sunny Patch, and he's just as excited about it as we are! For those of you looking for a checklist, this is the one we used when searching for our "dream" Preschool. Sunny Patch met everything on our list! “I have two children enrolled at Madrone. Something that I really enjoy about the school is the way my twins are encouraged to share, work together, and at the same time practice independence. They are both in the same room and both my husband and I are pleased with the staff and their commitment to early childhood. This Montessori program offers a natural and hands on approach to learning about science, nature and math. The director speaks to the children with love and compassion as well as to my husband and I. There are a lot of ways to be involved and my husband and I have both learned more about how to take the Montessori method into our home and encourage our children to be more self-reliant. This school has been a great experience for us and I only wish that my kids could stay here a few more years!”

“Looking for a fantastic facial in a serene atmosphere? Look no further! Ryan is the most attention detailed facialist I’ve ever worked with. She treats my skin like it’s her own. When I leave her studio I feel like I’m walking on cloud 9. The products she uses are awesome, the little details and added touches keep me coming back every six weeks. In addition to the facial she gives a hand and foot massage as well. Ryan is constantly reviewing new products and services to offer her clients, she shares her knowledge about products freely and is a delight to spend time with.”

“Oak meadow was the best elementary school ever! Had the best teachers every year and, overall probably learned more here than I did in middle school. “Lisa hands-down runs the best daycare/pre-school in the area. When we initially interviewed at Praiseland, I remember walking through the door and immediately noticing how it smelled CLEAN and was very organized. This contrasts with other daycares we had been to that smelled like urine and we're little more than controlled chaos. Lisa takes care to know all of the kids personally as well as maintaining an excellent staff of teachers for all of the classes. I love the honest, realistic, and caring approach at Praiseland that also maintains a Christian focus. Highly recommended!”
