“Hey! This is where my kids go to school and where I went when I was a young lad. Overall it is a great place to send your kids. They do have a "white slip" program where they want the parents to sign on any behavioral related problems. Good system in theory until you start receiving them because your kid "talked while standing in line". That's definitely not something that merits parent intervention. Pros: Wonderful teachers and beautiful campus Cons: White slip program. Back in my day, Mrs. North just looked slyly at me challenged me to do better. We knew... we knew.”

“There are many reasons why my family highly recommends Blissful Gardens! Moving our mamma to a place where she could get the 24/7 care she needed (due to Alzheimer’s) was an emotional decision. We explored more than several options. Things that we took into consideration were costs, meals, levels of care, activities and overall comfort. We moved mom to Blissful Gardens about two years ago and our family is extremely grateful to know that she is in such caring and competent hands. Because of her dementia we were not sure if mom would respond to group activities. Bless her heart. The activities director and staff at BG are very creative and inclusive. The activities are so thoughtful and playful. Mom joins right in! The team there also hosts plenty of gatherings around holidays and certain events, giving families the opportunity to have a nice meal with their loved one while enjoying some music and great food prepared by the awesome kitchen staff. Mom is doing better than she was before this move. She’ll not come back from the effects of Alzheimer’s. We just want her to be surrounded by love. There is something beautiful about the way, the light shines through a window and mom (the artist) notices. She may be confused but I think her soul recognizes the beauty that surrounds her now. She would not forget to tell me if she was unhappy. After a visit with her, she waves and smiles. There was a time when she would cry every-time we left her. The fine people at Blissful Gardens are to be commended for all of their hard work and for providing not just a safe, clean place for mom but also a cheerful, warm and inviting home. Our father would have wanted the very best for his wife of 66 years. I believe we found that in the Blissful Gardens! They are a treasure.”

“We were visiting from L.A. and needed to wash clothes ASAP. We found this laundromat off of Highway 49. Despite the reviews saying it's 'run down', I actually liked it. It's a small, local, countryside laundromat with an old-school look inside. While it may appear 'dirty', the inside is actually clean, and the machines are new. Plus, it's reasonably priced at $3.00 for a load. We bought a laundry bag for .75 cents, which was cool. I like this old-school look and feel, and I hope it doesn't change. There were no workers when we came, but it's no big deal because we didn't need assistance. ☆ We came here at 6:30 pm on a Tuesday, and it wasn't busy at all. I highly recommend it.”

“We attended Park Community Church for the first time with my family and we really enjoyed our experience. This church is very down to earth, inviting, and has this calm and inviting atmosphere. The new pastor is very understanding, compassionate, and loving and his sermon was biblically sound and he does a great job of explaining the bible. Their worship group sings beautiful calm songs and it doesn't feel like a loud rock concert for once. They have something for everyone. My kids attended the kids service and really enjoyed it. If you are new to the area and are looking for a new church/community to be a part of this is a great place! You will surely feel like you are a part of the family in just one visit.
