“The Adventist health medical office in Selma was a pleasant experience. I really enjoyed the waiting area and the set up of the check-in area. It wasn’t busy or crowded at 10am on a Friday and my 15 month old and I got to enjoy the kid friendly play area. Dr. Calvalcante was professional and knowledgeable and I felt heard and seen. I’ll be looking forward to more visits and follow ups .”

“Kebab City is only 2 minutes from the 99 and is definitely worth pulling off the freeway for a good quality lunch or dinner with large portions. SO much better than the fast food options. The server was very friendly and helpful. They have booth and table seating available inside with great air conditioning. Other than the server and cook playfully yelling across the restaurant back and forth the whole time while they were talking about their social life, it was nice inside and there were many locals coming in to get food to go, which is obviously a good sign. We enjoyed our meal and would definitely come back. I highly recommend this place. When racing up or down the 99, we should always try to take a few minutes to pull off and support local businesses.”

“This is a head start/preschool for low income families. They encourage the kids parents/guardians to volunteer in the classroom, which I did as a parent. And I was greatly relieved that I was given the chance to be with my daughter as she is a very shy person. I was also glad to see the day to day activities and got to know the teachers and staff. They are fantastic! Also loved that there are always 3 teachers with each class, whether in class or outside during recess. They are big on safety and learning. It was also nice to see other parent volunteers too.”
