(September 28, 2019, 9:53 pm)A very nice stop that has historical significance. The grounds were terrific. The graves were solemn and respectful. A photography exhibit indoors showed a part of the story of the 1960s farm labor movement. However, greater context was missing. How many laborers were there? How were the strikebreakers treated? Who were they striking against specifically? What were the specific requests during negotiations? What was the outcome? Did the results hold afterward? I learned most of this from Wikipedia after our visit. The park employee said the park was a work in progress but that they had a ways to go. Chavez's 10 principles were a very good read. Many of the photos were amazing. A fine visit to a unique place.

(August 17, 2019, 9:22 pm)It was too hot to us to walk much of the grounds. However, what we saw was quite nicely done. There is a walk through museum and displays, a small gift store and a theatre with a 15 minute video. We've driven the highway for many years not stopping. We had some extra time. I'm glad we stopped. Enjoy your visit!
