Camp Kernville

Very clean campground. The maintenance team was always working and cleaning the camp sites and the bathrooms. Also loves the beach access and the friendly staff. Town is close to the campground it was nice to be able to walk to town.

Customer service exceeded expectations - incredibly welcome and helpful! We were able to watch the (cold) Kern River rush by while enjoying a picnic with our 2 pups. Peaceful, clean environment - would definitely stop by again if we are in the area =)

We love Camp Kernville! We decided to rent one of their RV's and were so pleased that we did. The rig was clean and spacious...the mattresses were comfortable, and the kitchen was well-stocked. The staff filled out freshwater tanks daily and were so friendly and helpful. Everyone went above-and-beyond to make sure we were having a nice stay. The location is perfect...both to the river itself and a 5 minute walk to the historic downtown to get coffee or lunch/dinner. Its the perfect blend of feeling you're embedded in nature but having the convenience of being within reach to some conveniences. I can't recommend Camp Kernville enough! We will for sure be back.
