“We've had a unit here for over a year and we really couldn't be happier. The price is fair, and the facility is gated with security cameras vs some of the other storage locations in the area which are less secure. Richard is great.. super friendly and understanding the couple of times we've had to pay late. Paying is really convenient.. with reminder emails a week in advance and you can place a card on a file and just make a call into the office or there's a drop box at the office. My only recommendation is to heed his warning about the dust because the units are not very well sealed and absolutely everything that isn't covered or sealed will have dust on or in it. In addition to that, we ended up having a major problem with collosal sized black widows taking up residence in our unit and we found them just cruising around the place rather than just in webs. Our solution to this problem was to place a few daddy long legs in the unit and they completely eradicated the widows.. killing every single one”

“Delano's hidden gem. My 5 children have been training at Delano Jiu Jitsu Club for a year and the progress they have made is incredible. My children have gone from shy and insecure kids to confident and bold children. They are learning a skill and dicipline for life. The instructors genuinely care about the children on and off the mat. I can't recommend the school enough and five stars does not do this place justice.”

“Similar to the experiences of other reviewers, I have no complaints about Dr. Reyna. She's a good physician; she listens and doesn't rush appointments. She answers questions. Trying to get a med refill as an established patient, however, takes forever. This isn't about restrictive laws. Unsent messages, apparent lack of concern from staff, possibly; being told, "I know you think this is important.."--today, when I finally got a person on the phone. I don't have the luxury of quitting this med; some years ago, in absolute frustration, I just quit taking it. Speeding and distracted driving nearly took my life. So yes, it IS important, even if a stranger thinks otherwise.”

“Always a great experience with Kern river fly shop. My husband booked a guided trip for us hoping I would like it enough to fish with, and I ended up hooked! I have since booked several guide trips with Kern river fly shop and they are always amazing experiences. From fishing the upper Kern with Rob to learning to fish the surf with Guy, I have learned so much in a short period of time. It’s a lot of knowledge to take in but Rob is always very patient and excited about sharing everything he knows every time we are out on the water. Hes just as excited as I am when I hook a fish and learn something new. I always feel safe getting down to the fishing spots and in the water. I’m thankful he’s taught me to be confident/sage on the water when I’m fishing on my own. I more recently booked a surf clinic and guided day with Guy. I was surprised how much I learned in such a short time at the clinic. At the guided trip, He helped me catch onto it so quick. It was awesome to feel confident and catch a few fish the first time being out. Guy was patient and explained everything to me so I understood it easily. I even went out on my own a couple days after and was able to catch quite a few on my own just after those two classes. I love how all the guides genuinely love what they are doing!”

I haven't been up there in a year or so, and to my surprise when I went up there yesterday to get a pastrami I was sadly disappointed to see they were closed down.. I've never seen it empty with no people especially in July. A piece of life feels like it just came to an end. I still give them 5 stars for having the best pastrami ever.”

“I recently had the pleasure of visiting Chabad of Bakersfield and I cannot recommend it highly enough. The rabbi and his family are truly exceptional people - kind, energetic, and always willing to go above and beyond to make visitors feel welcome. The synagogue itself is a beautiful and peaceful space, perfect for quiet contemplation and prayer. But the real highlight for me was the holocaust memorial - it is an absolute must-see. The display of six million buttons is incredibly moving, and a powerful reminder of the atrocities of the past. Overall, I cannot speak highly enough of Chabad of Bakersfield. Whether you are a regular attendee of synagogue or simply interested in learning more about Jewish history and culture, this is an absolutely fantastic place to visit. Highly recommended!”
