(June 15, 2020, 7:36 pm)Great place to see a views of Downtown LA and Echo Mountain from the same spot! Park is along the historic route that the Mt. Lowe Railway used to take on it's way up the mountain (that's why the park is curved). There is a plaque honoring David MacPherson who engineered the Mt. Lowe Railway. From the park you can hike Northeast along the Altadena Crest Trail and connect to either Rubio Canyon and Eaton Canyon or Echo Mountain via the Sam Merrill
