“I finally found a church to fellowship with those who love Jesus 🤗 and Pastor Greg Davis practices what he preaches! They just started meeting Wednesdays at 6:30 for Bible Study and the youth meet at 5 for crafts to hand out. Currently painting rocks with a word and making Bookmarks.”

“This is a loving and supportive family of believers who are waiting for you to join. The music is top notch modern worship mixed with traditional influences. The decor and hospitality match its bright and warm atmosphere of kindness. It has a multiethnic flavor of encouragement and support for all souls who are looking to rest in a peaceful nest of joy and light. The pastor preaches recovery and hope in a very clever, real and straight forward way. On Friday nights they have a biblical program based on the 12 steps called Celebrate recovery which provides freedom from life's hurts habits, and hang ups. Check it out! They even have a thoughtful gift bag for newcomers filled with fabulous goodies inside.”

“Small church, with a great heart. The pastor is outstanding and I love his sermons, very wise and Spirit filled. The people that go there are friendly and kind. I feel as if I'm in a nice family, no pretentious individuals there. The children have wonderful teachers for their Bible class. Come and visit you will love the experience and will always want to come back. I did! See you on Sunday service, starts at 11:00 am and Bible study at 10:00 am. and free breakfast before the service for those who will attend the service. God wants to see you there.”

“Glendale Church of the Brethren is a wonderful neighborhood church. Their Service on Sunday's at 10:45 a.m. is diverse and open to every ethnicity. It is a Church of the Brethren based traditional Christian service in English, uplifting and positive and what I love is that the pastor will read scripture, but then show you how it applies to today's world. I've learned service, and how to be kinder, loving and more "present". You are greeted warmly and if you get there by 9:30, you are welcomed and fed an amazing home cooked breakfast with hot coffee, waffles, bacon, etc. and then after church there is another meal. Lots of Fellowship and warmth and FOOD.”

“Overall ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ (5/5): If you're looking for a contemporary worship experience with a phenomenal band and great music, you need to check out this church! People are great and the vibe fits today. Pastor gives an engaging and great message. This SDA church is worth seeing! Welcomeness: When I entered, I was greeted with a smile and given a bulletin. The warmth of the people and the church was immediately felt. Environment/ The Building: The SDA church is held in what seemed to be a revamped warehouse building. In the sanctuary the seats are arranged in a stadium seating style. It is set up in a concert feel with the lights dimmed for the audience and luminescent lights for the stage. The concert-venue sanctuary sits about 200 people and on this Sabbath it was 70% filled. The church has a great sound and lighting system that adds to the service. Atmosphere in church / The Feel: The use of lights on the stage gives it a modern feel that is youthful, vibrant, and energetic. The dark sanctuary also allows for one to be themselves, praising and singing with less pressure of people looking at them. The decor of the sanctuary creates excitement for the service as it suits a younger or progressive audience. Time of Service: 12pm-1:30pm Worship Music - category: new contemporary worship & praise songs - instrumentation type: full band (2 guitars, bass, 2 keyboards, drums, banjo, 6 vocalists) - quality: extremely well polished musicians and band - crowd engagement: high - duration: 4 songs Sermon: This Seventh-day Adventist pastor uses engaging metaphorical story to introduce his message. He is energetic, dynamic, passionate speaker. He is inclusive with his message as all can relate. - duration: 12:40-1:20 Demographics - ages: elementary children with parents, young professionals - family-oriented: yes - attendance: 120 - diversity: majority Latino - dress / attire: casual-business dress Potluck: yes”

“This place changed my life and it's outcomes. Outcomes which can be measured (before and after) I've been affiliated with this particular center for well over 15 years. Reverend Pam McGregor has such a way of putting things that it creates a shift for me. Yes, there are other locations, but this organization tends to stay more in principle and delves less into anecdotal personal experiences while sticking to the teachings of Dr. Ernest Holmes It's also a safe/great place to bring your kids. Ms. Karen in the Youth Center conveys a child friendly version of the teaching. I have watched so many young kids be prepared for adulthood through her teaching. Yes, she is live scanned, former general ed teacher who know teaches at L.M.U.! See you Sundays at 11!”

“Great, Welcoming Entrance. Beautiful Historical Building.on brand Blvd. I’ve been thinking going to this church for long time finally one day I was passing by I entered. There’s a little sign says come in light a candle have peace. That was very touching. The architecture is amazing high ceilings and amazing decorations. Very active with weekly programs. The style looks more like Scandinavian style but I’ve seen few pictures with Armenian writings which made me more welcomed. Great church to have in Glendale.”

“Love the conference! Always have amazing resources and the staff is always super helpful. I always try to stop by and say hello to Brenda at Bob Wong’s office and Alvin at CCF. But I’m almost always there for GLOW. Love the Glow office with Marco and Lisa Topete. If you need glow or want to out reach or need ideas they are the ones to go to. Such a blessing to have great people and resources for the SDA community. Keep up the great work! Blessings to all.”

“Our Story In an age where large funeral homes offer overpriced, impersonal service, our independent, family-owned mortuary provides what families need most, personally tailored programs that are administered with compassion and neighborly concern. For years we've built our reputation on providing families with sound advice and caring service at times of personal loss. We realize that it is important to many families, and to us, to know that all arrangements, whether a cremation service or traditional funeral service, can be handled locally. Crippen Mortuary was founded in 1928 by William & Ethel Crippen and has been in operation continuously at its present location in La Crescenta, California. In June of 2005 Crippen Mortuary assumed the pre-needs of Eckerman-Heisman Funeral Service of Burbank and moved the pre-needs to the La Crescenta facility, this will provide those pre-arranged policy holders to be assured that their arrangements will be honored without interruption. We also offer the Burbank, North Hollywood, Glendale area the same personal service given by Eckerman-Heisman Funeral Service since 1943. In November 2007 Crippen Mortuary opened an arrangement office in Santa Clarita for the purpose of offering families in the Santa Clarita Valley a choice of mortuary services in their area. As the only independently owned and operated funeral home in the Foothills, we strive to provide the finest, most compassionate care to each and every family we serve. Since 1928, we have proven that it is possible to provide affordable funeral and cremation services without sacrificing quality.”
