“So impressed with the staff. They are great with the kids, super patient and respectful. This was a 2 week sailing course for kids 8 to 13 yo. The first week they learned balance, teamwork, trust, rigging, and special knotts and launching from the beach and parking on the dock. They have enough staff to place to motor boats out on the water to assist the children as needed. This week they are learning to sail solo. Highly recommend this activity for kids. At first we didn't know what to expect and the boys weren't thrilled that we signed them up but now they love the program.”

“I appreciate this park a lot. It's the only public grass park in the area. It is fenced in which is nice for kids and dogs. There are homeless on occasion, but they are pleasant and keep to themselves. It has lighting for an evening visit.”

“Great park. Kids play and enjoy the park very much. It’s a great place for dogs and great community of people with mostly well behaved dogs. No homeless stay here as it’s attached to the schools, not sure how that works, but it’s working very very very very well. I would highly suggest this park to anyone with dogs or kids to enjoy the day at. Fully fenced. The are set up for baseball games and practice a few days during the week but it’s clearly posted and most people stay away to allow the kids to play. Keep up the work at this park as it’s one of very very very few that are not destroyed by homeless.”

“La Bella Fontana di Napoli is a graceful three tiered fountain that was installed in 1971 and has been the center meeting point on Naples Island, The fountain has its own park-like setting. Naples, Italy resembles this park with the sound of falling water and the illumination of the lights at night. It also has a feel of Venice - Italy since there are Italian themed canals flowing with boats & gondolas all year long. Read some more details below about the fountain. Ricardo the Realtor loves this fountain! History of the Fountain This site was donated to the City in 1933 by the Belmont Shore Development Company and was known as "Circle Park Naples". It was renamed "Bella Flora Park" by the Park Commission in 1934. The old Naples Hotel once stood to the west of this site. The original park improvements consisted of a lawn area with large Phoenix Palms. It also included a vent for an abandoned underground septic tank. The vent was removed in 1971 and replaced with a Neapolitan-type fountain that rises in three-tiers from an octangular base. The fountain was dedicated on February 20, 1971, and renamed "La Bella Fontana di Napoli". The fountain was renovated in 2008 with new tile and lighting by City staff with assistance of the Naples Garden Club.”

“There was a nice playground and amenities. I appreciated the water bottle filling fountain, the bike repair station and the exercise circuit. The trees gave lovely shade, though not on the play equipment. The soccer field was just a dust bowl, however”

“Awesome little park that's so close to me that makes it very convenient. My dog is about 14 and 1/2 years old but quite spry for his age but every once in awhile he's it does catch up with them, so it's nice to have a park that I can walk to within 4 minutes and then another one down the street about 10 minutes away that's really big. Nice and quiet area everyone friendly. Dogs will come but there are no dog bags on the premise and this is pretty much just a roundabout it's been turned into a park with a trellis in the center and some trees that I under”

“I would say this is a very nice place to fly, but it would involve a fairly big caveat. That being if you go on a weekend expect HUGE wait times, as the old guard seems to get here when the sun comes up and stay until it goes down. And if you have anything without wings (read: drone) you will be relegated to the pock marked DMZ looking dirt area between Glider Field and the San Gabriel Riverbed. If you're able to get here in the middle of the day on a weekday you might luck out and have the place to yourself!”

“Great place for the kids to play. Only caviot is that there are no upgrades for those working out. There is enough space for adult workout area pull up bars, etc so we don't have to go to Cherry Park!! Other than that amazing place for get together, family, or relax on an off day!”

“This is the first dog park that I've taken my dog to, and wow is this a nice and roomy dog park. The park is split 75/25 bigger part for medium and large dogs and small dogs on the other part. It isn't enforced but if you like you can bring your little friend to the deep-end of the pool if they feel confident enough. The larger side of the park has tons of room to run and jump over tree stumps that are in the middle. No need to worry about bringing throwing balls there are tons of them that are left from others to use, unless you have your own that you would like to use to help keep other dogs germs to themselves. Overall I can say that my dog had a great time”

“The mural is so well done!! It is slightly off-putting that there are homeless people camped out about 100' away. One guy came over offering to take pictures of us and seemed annoyed and rushed our decision when he saw we were apprehensive about it. We told him no thank you and quickly walked away cutting our visit short. Beyond that it is a beautiful well maintained park and mural.”

“It's beautiful. Clean. I walked around and was impressed. The bathroom was clean although if I were any bigger I wouldn't fit in the stalls. If only the door swung out instead of in. My church has service there every Sunday at 11:30. I encourage anyone who wants to attend to come by 11:00 so we can meet you. We have communion every week, fellowship and a light lunch afterwards. You're welcome to bring something to share if you're able. Please come. Kathy with a K. Pastor William Lee LifeVine Ministry Service available on ZOOM”
