“Been wanting to try this place out for a minute and it was definitely worth the wait. I got there 15min before closing so I ordered the rose tteokbokki to go. The flavor is great and comes with fish cake and cabbage as the standard topping. I like that there was some spicy quality but not overly so. Great quick Korean spot and the staff were the friendliest.”

“Almost the best hotpot restaurant in the North LA area. Even much better than those franchise hotpot in the East LA area. We went for lunch and could get a free tea as the lunch special. For offering, we could choose different proteins and the different soup base as well as some more add-ons. It's also free to take the sauce at the sauce bar. We ordered the seafood combo with Tonkotsu base, the beef rib with the kimchi base and the beef slices with the curry base. There are many nice bases to choose from. The beef ribs are so huge for the combo, they are too tender and nice with the hotpot. At every Hotpot, there would be full of vegetables and some other small things for customers to enjoy a rich taste. Also the snacks like fries and popcorn chicken are nice! The price is really awesome with such good food quality! The store is decorated well with a nice design. Personally speaking I love the window at the ceiling to let sunshine coming in! Really awesome for dining here.”

“Ahhh!!! I really like it here. I’ve only gone a few times but from those times, I have had a great experience. The staff are very nice and even make sure to ask if you have any questions. The drinks are made quick (within minutes after ordering) and they’re pretty good too!! I also love the vibe of the place in general. The price per drink is also very good too. I spent about $18 total for 2 24oz drinks and 1 supersize drink (I forgot how many ounces exactly it was but it had to be like 32oz maybe?). I honestly think that is worth it. I definitely do think that the drink I got (Sunset Breeze; only in supersize when I went) was a little too sweet to my liking but then again, I do not really have a big sweet tooth! I’d just say you never know until you try it!! Edit: I went again, got a different drink (The second image is this drink) and it was very good~ 😌 It was the Maui Crush (just in case anyone wanted to know, it is decaf :] )”

“I hope we have well passed the times when people wince when I mention a restaurant in a shopping center/ strip mall. When you decide to go to Hot Wok the first thing I want you to know is that all the staff is super friendly. Everyone will talk to you and make you feel truly welcome. As for the food, my wife and I started off with gyoza. It was perfectly fried as they had a nice crunch. My wife had the egg drop soup and I had the hot and sour. Both soups had great flavor but I preferred the hot soup. As for our meals my wife went with the cashew chicken lunch special. This dish had a truly great flavor. The contrasting textures added a great dimension. I went with the fried pork chop in Peking sauce. I am truly a fan of pork chops, especially fried. They were perfectly fried, they were tender and with the sauce a little messy but we’ll work it. I can’t wait until my wife and I can go back to try something else.”

“Amazing Pizza. I wish I found them sooner. We do pizza every Friday for the kids and they LOVE their cheese pizza. I would also like to compliment their response to errors. My first Pizza arrived slightly cold and looked overcooked. I called for a replacement Pizza and they sent one in 35 minutes no questions asked. “This was my first time visiting this place. There were some absolutely amazing stand outs and some things I would not order again. I would skip the salmon sashimi, pork bao and the churro dessert. They needed a lot of improvement. The sauces are utterly amazing. The shrimp appetizer was to die for and I could eat that every day of my life. The titanic roll was great as well. “Guidos has great pizza. This was my first time going there and I ordered a large cheese for take out. When I got there I waited a few minutes before it was ready to go. They seemed very busy with deliveries and take out. This location has been in business for over 20 years and it was clear they have been successful. They were very friendly as well. I ate the pizza about an hour after I picked it up and even though it was a bit cold, the crust was still a bit crispy and had a great texture and flavor. It was a classic pizza with the right balance of cheese and sauce. The interior is spartan and small, hence the lower grade for atmosphere. Parking was tight.”
