“La Vaquita Farm is a great little family owned store. They sell fresh groceries, unique Mexican products; drinks, salsas, treats, and lots of other goodies. They have a kitchen in the back with deliciously prepared food, which is more than reasonably priced, and a great deal for a quick home-made to-go lunch. Carniceria department, they have deliciously prepared asada meets. Pollo Asada and Al Pastor meats go well on tacos, I recommend getting some of their home made tortillas.”

“Carolina of Cynthia's Slipcovers did a wonderful job making custom cushions and slipcovers for the the metal patio furniture that we have around our fire pit. She came to our house with a book of Sunbrella fabrics so we could choose the fabric design. She then created stencils of the seats so that the cushions would fit exactly. The workmanship was excellent, the price was reasonable, and the work was done in a little over one week. I would definitely use her services again.”

Unlike Rite Aid and Vons they don't make mistakes (such as giving wrong medication, wrong dose, wrong name, wrong date) or make up excuses for not having medication in stock. They DO explain how to navigate insurance and offer suggestions on how to save money, explain how medications work - and offer empathy and concern.
