“It's a Starbucks -- quick, efficient, to the point for coffee and espresso drinks. Inside and outside of location were clean and free of debris/garbage/litter -- I did not check out the restroom. I ordered an iced chai tea latte with regular milk, petit vanilla bean scones, and also purchased an apple juice box. The chai tea was sweet but not overly sweet or diluted by milk and/or ice -- it tasted refreshing and creamy, as I expect an iced chai tea latte from Starbucks to be. The petit vanilla bean scones were decent -- dense, but not too biscuit-like. Each of the little scones looks as though it would weigh 1-1.5 ounces. They are filling enough, especially for such a small pastry. And the juice box... Well, it's a juice box. Not expired. Overall, if you're looking for a Starbucks to stop at when you want something with coffee, espresso, or tea, and you're on Artesia by Van Ness, this is your place.”

“While searching for coffee, Cafe Pruvia popped up and I’m glad it did. It's a cute shop located in a very busy shopping center in Gardena. It felt like a study room with lots of people studying together on their computers and enjoying a yummy drink. It reminded me of when I was in college studying in the library. Cafe Pruvia offers coffee, lattes, and tea lattes. I went with an iced vanilla latte. Not only did I really enjoy the drink, but I also loved the cup that it was in. I know that's weird, but I just liked the sturdiness of the cup and the shape of it. Hubby and I enjoyed our coffee so much, that we turned around and ordered another drink. This time, we tried their swirled whipped cream matcha drink. That drink was also very good! I loved the way it looked in the cup and I love the way it tasted! Overall, Cafe Pruvia was a success! “I was passing by this area and decided to stop by Waffle Studio for fun. I was pleasantly surprised by how good this place is! They have a variety of delicious waffles, teas, and coffees to choose from. I ordered the strawberry waffle, which was crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, topped with fresh strawberries and whipped cream. It was so good that I almost finished it by myself. I also tried the house salted coffee and the coconut coffee blended, both of which were smooth and flavorful. The house salted coffee had a nice balance of sweet and salty, while the coconut coffee blended was creamy and refreshing. The staff was friendly and attentive, and the cafe was cozy and cute. They have a lot of decorations and seating options, perfect for a small chat or a relaxing break. The prices were reasonable for the quality and quantity of food and drinks. I would definitely come back here again and try their other waffle flavors, such as pandan, sesame. Waffle Studio is a hidden gem in South El Monte that deserves more recognition and customers.
