“I stopped by this corner cafe on a whim and ordered an almond milk latte – it was smooth, rich, and exactly what I needed. While I was enjoying my drink near the window, a squirrel on the exterior ledge caught my eye. This little guy seemed oddly interested in my coffee break and kept peering in like we were old friends catching up. It made for a good laugh and somehow added to the charm of the place. Great coffee, friendly staff, and a surprise squirrel encounter – I’ll definitely be back.”

Their coconut cheesecake is to die for but since I have had it multiple times, decided to try the bread pudding. It was delicious too. Had a great mocha and coffee as well. The views is awesome too. They were incredibly efficient, handling a steady flow of customers with impressive speed. Despite the clear pressure of managing a busy line alone, every drink, including my perfectly made latte, was prepared accurately and delivered with a friendly demeanor. It's clear they were skilled at multitasking and providing great customer service, even with what seemed like limited staff. In short, while the noise level might be a drawback for some, the excellent service from the lone employee significantly improved the experience. This Starbucks shows how one dedicated person can make a big difference in how a service is perceived.”

“It's a Starbucks -- quick, efficient, to the point for coffee and espresso drinks. Inside and outside of location were clean and free of debris/garbage/litter -- I did not check out the restroom. I ordered an iced chai tea latte with regular milk, petit vanilla bean scones, and also purchased an apple juice box. The chai tea was sweet but not overly sweet or diluted by milk and/or ice -- it tasted refreshing and creamy, as I expect an iced chai tea latte from Starbucks to be. The petit vanilla bean scones were decent -- dense, but not too biscuit-like. Each of the little scones looks as though it would weigh 1-1.5 ounces. They are filling enough, especially for such a small pastry. And the juice box... Well, it's a juice box. Not expired. Overall, if you're looking for a Starbucks to stop at when you want something with coffee, espresso, or tea, and you're on Artesia by Van Ness, this is your place.”
