“My bagels have been decent. I think they could have more veggies. But the coffee is great. Affordable and great taste. Not burnt or pretentious. The inside is very elaborately decorated for a small cafe.”

“It was amazing! We ordered a vegetarian combo that came with injera. It was scrumptious. It came with 5 sides and every single one of them was yum. The food portion is big and it can be easily shared by two people. The food felt light and filling. Every item on the vegetarian combo was freshly made. But I guess the starter we ordered was a frozen item which was refried. It tasted well but it was a bit dry. I am not a fan of frozen and reheated items. Nevertheless, I stick with 5 stars because their food was very tasty overall and the staff was kind too. You have good vegetarian and non-vegetarian options here.”

“One of the best breakfast burritos I’ve ever had. Love the Tia Maria with two green sauces on the side. I prefer to eat the breakfast burritos here immediately after they made at the restaurant. One of the best parts of this burrito IMO are the crispy tater tots inside and they tend to get soggy if I wait to eat the burrito at home. They can also veganize these burritos if you need (no eggs, butter or cheese).”

“I frequently stopped here when walking around the neighborhood for either coffee and/or a sandwich. The specialty coffee is pretty good and is usually what I'd spend my money on (Rose and Lavender lattes). Some of the basic lattes are what you'd expect- nothing memorable, but out of all things their prices for coffee are low-average compared to other SF gourmet coffee shops. I really enjoy their club sandwich (this, however, is "SF normal" pricing of $13~ haha) which is hearty and delicious, especially on Dutch crunch bread. Their tamales are definitely worth stepping in for as well for a small bite. I didn't have any real problem with the service, the workers are kind and my orders accurate. I will agree they're not speedy but that's not what I come here for, mostly because I have to walk to access this café. It's right next to Chase Center, so you better believe there is absolutely no free or convenient parking. This small shop has about 3 small metal tables inside and 3 outside. Don't expect to be truly wined and dined in this establishment. One thing worth noting (and not easy to find in proximity) is a single person bathroom (for customers) that's clean and has a saved me on a few occasions. It's worth a stop for unique coffees and lunch bites!”

“Claddagh Coffee Cafe is not for the faint of heart. The Cafe is a throwback to the 70's maybe late 60's, but with a reflection of the local neighborhood of the Mission/Geneva area. The cafe iinterior has 4 tables, counter seating with 3 stools and a big window for people watching. The cafe offers various pastries, coffee, breakfast, and sandwiches. I ordered ice coffee and a ginger bread. The cafe seems to be a gathering point for the seniors. If dominos or cards were available, they would definitely be on the table.”

“Delicious! I really loved this place! The staff was super friendly and helpful! The owner is from Argentina (and played rugby!) The empanadas were well prepared and super flavorful! Chalos offers them both baked or fried! And a great overall vibe in San Francisco's Sunset District! A bit off the beaten path BUT well worth the visit!”

“A good sandwiches under $10, where else you can get right now under high living cost in Bay Area. The sandwich is good taste, a standard one with Mayonnaise, Mustard, onion, tomato and pickles. It’s convenient for a good lunch. There are supermarkets next door that you can buy drinks. This is a good neighborhood and people are nice. The bakery looks good.”

“Great lunch spot with nice ambiance. Enjoyed a cubano sandwich that was quite tasty. Side of beet & goat cheese salad, also good. They have a nice selection of wine. Equator coffee is sold here. Some local provisions such as jam & honey they also sell. I would come back.”

“I did the Temperance Tasting with a friend, and we were blown out of the water by the friendliness of the staff, the delicious cocktails, and the amount we got. Highly recommend for $40! It was so fun “mixing” drinks like gin cocktails, sparkling wine, and espresso martinis without the hangover or the hurt the next morning. We felt amazing! Natasha was a wonderful hostess. Definitely come by to this gem.”

“Love love love this spot!!!! I get my green juices (and they are so generous and accept all of my substitutions) and coffee here. The food and drinks are so solid and leaves me feeling great and uplifted. They have the friendliest crew too. My to go spot in the mission!”

“Standard Peet's Coffee location. This coffee shop is located near the DMV and has plenty of parking nearby. There's also a grocery store with a door that leads into here. There is no indoor seating, but there are a few tables and benches outdoors. I don't think there's a restroom, but I could be wrong. When ordering an iced drink, remember to ask for light ice if you want more to drink. The prices have increased, but they're average for the city.”

“Delicious french press, great music and open at 05:30! Not adjusting to the SF time zone as I am only here for the weekend, my night was quite long and the first place to open in the neighbourhood was this amazing coffee place. A large french press as seen on the photos is around $6 and the rest of the options are cheaper. Many choices of various lattes and some teas as well. Free wifi, friendly staff and amazing classic tunes playing. Highly recommended”

“Our group had to wait for a table because we showed up on a Friday night and it was already very busy, so maybe plan accordingly if you don’t want to wait. Otherwise it was a very fun and unique experience! They have many games for sale in addition to games that you can play there. The food is very good, we got waffles with chicken, banana/Nutella, and strawberry. They have mochi inside of them and are gluten free so that’s good if you’re celiac.”

“Beautiful cafe on a street corner with outdoor seating and a variety of pastries and drinks. There was a short line when I visited on a Wednesday afternoon. It appeared that the indoor seating was closed off. When it was my turn to order, I stepped to the counter and got a "Fresh OJ" and "Everything Croissant" which totaled just under $10. Paying was easy because they accept mobile payments and cards. The juice tasted fresh but was in quite a small cup for $4. Still, it was a reasonable serving. The croissant was super flaky and there was a good amount of everything seasoning on top. It was filled with a squiggle of cream cheese. Utensils, napkins, and that sort of thing were on a little table further inside. The walkway wasn't very wide, but a small wheelchair could squeeze through. Overall, it was a good experience, though pricier than I expected. But if you're going to a cafe, it's because you want to splurge a little and not make a drink for yourself.”

“Great breakfast burrito. Perfectly cooked fluffy scrambled eggs with great flavors (black pepper, a bit of hot sauce and green onions, bacon bits) and a crispy flour tortilla shell. Will be back again for this.”

“A necessary stop anytime my girlfriend and I are in the area. Two bagels, two coffees and two chocolate donuts. Everything is always delicious and the owner always a delight. Forget the areas more corporate spots, come here instead. Don't forget to tip 💸”

“Alma Cafe is such a hidden gem! Beautiful and spacious cafe with a relaxed, natural vibe. They have coffee, pastry and quite a breakfast menu. I picked an open face sandwich for my visit. The sandwich wasn't very big, but it was really gourmet, with a generous portion of well-seasoned mushrooms. Although it wasn't what I expected (something more hearty and filling), I still enjoyed it and am happy trying it out. The question is though, this location doesn't attract the gourmet crowd.”

“What a great addition to thrive city! Located in the corner behind dumpling time, right next to the entrance of Uber! we've been anticipating the open of this new Philz location! Decided to stop by at lunch time to grab a coffee with some coworkers. Walking up to Philz there was lots of Uber employees sitting outside since it is in the middle of Mission Bay Campus. It was a nice day to hang out outside, sitting in the sun and lots of people took advantage of there outdoor seating to grab some coffee. I decided to try out a Mocha Tesora with almond milk & bacon and onion pretzel. My best friend grabbed a Mint Mojito ice coffee and chocolate croissant. Since this was my first time trying Philz I didn't know what to expect, but I enjoyed seeing that they have a wide variety of pasty's available. I liked my coffee, wasn't bitter and not over sweet ( but still would have perfected it sweeter for my taste but really good either way) , next time I know to order it sweetened and extra hot, it was a bit too Luke warm for me but I also like my coffee extremely hot. I really enjoyed my bacon and onion croissant, nice and warm, crispy but flaky. Would definitely get again. He said his Mint Mojito Iced Coffee was good too, creamy and sweet and not too strong. The amount of mint added was good and he really liked the presentation of the coffee and how it stayed within the traditional way a Mojito is presented. He hadn't had it in a long time and was better then he remembered. He definitely would get it again. Really like the seating inside, very spacious and inviting. Long counters of barristas making coffee, they Even have a small table of Philz coffee and tshirts for you to buy. Looking forward to being able to try all the different food and beverage options when we stop by in the middle of the day for a quick pick me up!”

“Best eggettes! Others have tried but none can match the consistency of eggettes. The sharks fin soup is my savory and hot favorite when the weather changes in the Sunset. The drinks tend to be sweet but their flavors and blended drinks are good. Rainbow jelly is a plus for me.”

“Small local spot. Loved how they knew so much about their regulars and how they always want to catch up. It is dog friendly with a dog window were one of the staff will hand out dog treats. It’s amazing that they have so many options and add-ons for the breakfast sandwich. Also loved the amount of avocado they put in the sandwich.”

“Got a strawberry 🍓 crepe and my wife a Florentine crepe. She thought spinach would make it healthy, but they didn't hold back on the cheeses, yummy goodness! We also had lattes, hot and steamy. Only 2 tables so seating may be an issue.”

“2 bucks for a coffee, you can't really beat that. The proximity to my apartment building alone is worth the 2 bucks. The coffee is pretty standard. Like I have heard before from coffee enthusiasts, that at a major chain coffee house you are paying for caffeine not necessarily a quality of the coffee. Which I tend to agree with, but sometimes you want to get something fast and relatively cheap that's going to wake you up, hence why I went to Peet's. Over all not bad and they are everywhere in the city so access is the best part of this coffee place.”

“We came her for lunch yesterday. We used the self order kiosk. The user interface was quite easy to use! Our food was served hot and fresh. The manager was kind enough to inform us our meal was ready since we didn't get a text notification. I got the macaroni grilled cheese sandwich with French onion soup (extra cheese). Though the soup lacked broth flavor they used gruyere cheese which is always the best cheese for French onion soup and many places don't use it. So props to panera. The sandwich was cheesy and the pasta was cooked perfectly. The side of French bread was a little stale and tough but it was perfect for dipping in my soup. My wife got an iced caramel machiato drink, which tasted "a little milky" perhaps because of the shear volume of whip cream which melted over time. She got the pepperoni flatbread and really liked it. When I tried a slice, I thought it was lacking in sauce, but I guess "flatbread" pizza isn't supposed to have too much sauce. The fruit cup we got had fresh and juicy chunks of pineapple, melon, and honeydew melon . We ended with a cookie which was large and quite delicious. It was firm, dense, but chewy with lots of chocolate. Our meal cost $33 which is fair since panera is a step up from fast food. Will be back!”
