“I love this store! Andronico’s on Irving/Funston in the Inner Sunset is the best! The customer service is top-notch and they take your requests to heart! When I walked in last weekend, two weeks before Passover, to find a huge Passover offerings display, running down the aisle between the frozen foods section, I was in awe! Thank you so much for stocking such a beautiful display for one of the most important holidays of the Jewish calendar!”

“Google peeps, how do we get Mae Krua set up as its own business?? 331 Cortland, or Cortland Marketplace is home to several small local businesses. It's a FANTASTIC place to grab great food at reasonable (for SF) pricing. If you like to try a little of everything, you can here!!! As of August 2014: Paulie's Pickling, Anda Piroshky, Mae Krua, Green Smoothies, and Suite Foods Waffle Shop. This review is for Mae Krua, you can see reviews for Paulie's Pickling and Anda Piroshky at their respective pages. We shared the rice balls with salad, and the sweet sticky rice with mango. Both were delightful. The dressing for the salad is made to order, it's tart, tangy, light and fresh. The rice balls are so good, chewy-rich-goodness in a ball. Sweet Sticky Rice with Mango was so good, large serving, and he cut the fresh mango right over it. The owner was incredibly friendly. We'll be back. If you live nearby, 331 Cortland is a fantastic place to pick up lunch or early dinner to go. As with Anda, Mae Krua has all the 'ingredients' to be a success at 331, great food, good pricing, and friendly service. If you haven't been to 331 Cortland, or The Cortland Marketplace, it's small local businesses (all food right now I think) with counters. You order and if you're lucky snag a place on the bench around the tree right outside. Otherwise, this isn't a place you come to sit down to eat. It's take-away. We'll be back!”

“A good sandwiches under $10, where else you can get right now under high living cost in Bay Area. The sandwich is good taste, a standard one with Mayonnaise, Mustard, onion, tomato and pickles. It’s convenient for a good lunch. There are supermarkets next door that you can buy drinks. This is a good neighborhood and people are nice. The bakery looks good.”

“This business is a gem! I was in that area with family for dinner. Searching for " desserts " nearby this business came up. Only baklava? That's right, (basically) only baklava. Walking through the door you feel like you've entered another world, at least now during COVID-19. There must be 15 to 20 different versions of baklava available. And at 7:00 p.m. on a Sunday night most were still available. The owner/baker couldn't have been more friendly and was excited to describe different items. We picked up two boxes of 8 varieties. Turns out, if stored properly baklava will remain fresh up to 2 weeks. Upshot, if you're in the area it's more than worth a visit. If you like baklava I guess it's a must go.”

“Cute cookie bakery serving delicious novelty cookies and brownies in the heart of Castro. I had both the Sticky Nicky and a PB cookie. Both were delicious! Would return to get more novelty brownies.”

“I don’t go out of my way to write reviews. That being said chicken dog bagels is an experience with each bite. The owner is charismatic and passionate, waking up at the crack of dawn to bake; in doing this he ensure his customers get daily fresh bagels while using high quality ingredients you can taste. It is fair to say this is the best bagel I’ve ever had. Come by early as there is always a line to buy bagels here!”

“Ordered a few desserts here after trying a few at their other small location. Their cakes are beautifully made and delicious, easily superior to most restaurant desserts, will be back for more! 1-22-2022 Grabbed a slice of their triple chocolate mousse cake and WOW, best cake I may have ever had, regretting not buying two slices. Just going to have to go tomorrow.”

“We came her for lunch yesterday. We used the self order kiosk. The user interface was quite easy to use! Our food was served hot and fresh. The manager was kind enough to inform us our meal was ready since we didn't get a text notification. I got the macaroni grilled cheese sandwich with French onion soup (extra cheese). Though the soup lacked broth flavor they used gruyere cheese which is always the best cheese for French onion soup and many places don't use it. So props to panera. The sandwich was cheesy and the pasta was cooked perfectly. The side of French bread was a little stale and tough but it was perfect for dipping in my soup. My wife got an iced caramel machiato drink, which tasted "a little milky" perhaps because of the shear volume of whip cream which melted over time. She got the pepperoni flatbread and really liked it. When I tried a slice, I thought it was lacking in sauce, but I guess "flatbread" pizza isn't supposed to have too much sauce. The fruit cup we got had fresh and juicy chunks of pineapple, melon, and honeydew melon . We ended with a cookie which was large and quite delicious. It was firm, dense, but chewy with lots of chocolate. Our meal cost $33 which is fair since panera is a step up from fast food. Will be back!”

“My friends and I were having fun talking to each other while sipping the coffee. We really like the place because it was so cozy and elegant. I can say that it was designed by one of the best interior designers. The taste of their coffee was so good and not that sweet. Keep it up, guys! Highly recommended!”

“Hugh has a wonderful shop. We ordered the Prince Harry tea set. It came with endless pots of your choice of tea, Scottish shortbread cookies, a classic Motorloaf (loaf of bread with the middle removed and replaced with small savory sandwiches), and a choice of two marvelous scones with apricot and raspberry preserves. The atmosphere is perfect, and Hugh occasionally relates stories of growing up in England. Loved it. Will definitely recommend.”

“Butter goes well with everything especially pastries. You know you are in heaven by walking in and one whiff, you are home. Go early for better selections. I settled on monkey bread. It sounds cool and the fact you pull apart to eat it, adds a whimsical delight to eating something. It's crunchy outside and soft doughy inside. Practically everything makes me drool in there. Good thing they have a plastic clear case to prevent the homer simpson effect of scarfing everything into my face. They were so accommodating to give me hot water! Much appreciated.”

“A super cute quick eat in noe valley! Came with a group of 6 on a Saturday afternoon with no line. Food: I got the vegan yam pie and it was actually really good and just the right portion size! It is not super filling but is really savory and a interesting combination of ingredients. Service: They heat up the pies right after you choose them so it’s cool to see the pies then come out steaming hot! Super appetizing. Ambiance: Really nice coffee shop vibes and there are nice photos hanging on the walls. I would want to work here for longer since the sun splashes on you. Overall a cheap eat and a cute ambiance! Lots of variety.”

“We visited both bakery cafes on Pier 39 and the one on Jefferson Street. The latter one is the nicer one with the bistro upstairs and museum. The museum is very nice and definitely worth a visit. As far as the food is concerned: Loved the bread and chowder in a bowl. Btw, food is pretty much the same in both places”

“Great food. Their croissants are amazing. Already tried their chocolate, buttered, and ham and cheese. All top notch. Don't recommend getting their bagels. Super small for what you pay and it's not like this is a bagel place anyways. They also sell loaves of fresh bread. Radio playing Russian music station very authentic overall. Great friendly staff. Use the point thing they have at counter on 2nd visit you are already getting as free croissant. Only major negative would be limited indoor seating but this is San Francisco.”
