“This place is a real neighborhood gem. I will always recommend it—the deli is the star of the show, but this market also has a wide variety of produce, baked goods, packaged goods… they have sodas and even some speciality drinks (e.g., aloe drinks) in the back. You can also get espresso and other coffees at the front of the market (right by the deli). Most everything is quite decently priced, sandwiches at the deli are $10-13 depending on your fixin’s. There are also a few small tables outside to eat at, so you don’t have to walk to eat.”

“We who live on tippy top of Russian Hill think this is the best convenience store; our eyes are fixated on their wide collection of Bourbon and Armagnac; this is a store that wants to be into spirits instead of basic necessities; How also thoughtful of them to have tennis balls as we are close to Alice Marble courts. It’s great they do not allow pets who really should be set free in forests, their natural habitat, instead of seeking public adulation in cities. Pets are so needy these days. But sometimes I rather be a pet getting so much affection.”

“This is my go-to Grocery Outlet. Great selection of food, kitchen items, body care, sweets, pet stuff, organics. I have gotten good meat and cheese items here. Also butter and hummus! Sometimes great selection of plants and pots. Some great produce buys. If you're a GO shopper, you know you never know what you'll find. Be ready to be surprised. This GO was a plant nursery fir a while and has nice plantings and wild Greco-Roman statuary at entrance to parking lot.”

In addition to their wide assortment of reasonably priced wine they have great produce with organic products, an assortment of meat and fish, as well as frozen good. the owner Ray is trying to cater to the tastes of the neighborhood and is open to suggestions. “The meat is typically good cuts at a good price. The butcher's are always so helpful and knowledgeable. My family only goes there for fresh produce & meat. Everything else seems to be highly overpriced! I tried to purchase a 6 pack of Milca here... lemme tell you somethin that seemed shady, there's no sticky price tags so you know how much it costs. And you'd never know if you don't typically check your receipts. Maybe I'm just extremely frugal but there's no way I'm paying no frikn $8.99 for a dam 6 pack of soda! A SIX PACK PEOPLE!”

“The food is great! Menu is fairly priced. I ordered off the breakfast menu and it was delicious. Eggs and bacon was cooked to perfection, and pancakes were fluffy with just enough crunch to it. [I like my pancakes fried a little????????♀️] do to covid 19, ofcourse I was unable to enter the establishment, eating in the parking lot was no biggie. Overall a great moms/pops shop. I definitely recommend this establishment if your in the area ????????”
