“I love my e-bike!! The team at HPC is so knowledgeable and friendly. I bought my first electric bike with HPC a few years ago and they were so helpful. They made sure it had all the specs I needed to start my off-roading adventures. My first ride in Big Bear was memorable and so much fun. Hoping to upgrade my bike soon and get the new Trailblazer, they look really cool! Great people and awesome bikes!!”

“Luft is a great shop for road and gravel cyclists. I rented one of their Blackheart bikes and is was a killer gravel bike that performed beautifully on the road. Even better, I was able to get one of the employees of Luft, whose name is West, take me on a killer ride. West grew up in Venice beach and was like a historian of the Venice and Santa Monica communities and had lots of cool stories and information to share with me as we road through those two neighbourhoods. Then, he took me up into the Santa Monica mountains for some gravel that was absolutely beautiful. West was an awesome guide and it was an amazing way to spend a day! Thanks Luft!”

“Great vibes for a fun afternoon. We saw people working, playing games, walking by the river. Brunch was tasty and the outdoor seating is really pleasant on a nice day! Order up front and wait for a text. Had to wait a bit for a table to open up on a Sunday afternoon but worth it!”

“Great owner and Very honest. I was building a new Track frame and I had another bike I wanted to swap components (crank) he charge me $5 or less to swap the crank, I also brought a headset I wanted him to install which was $15 and I bought a after market bottom bracket for $25 plus free installation and a KMC chain for the drivetrain for $15. I bought new handle bar grips odyssey for $13. He swapped the rims for free and the stem and handle bars. I thought I need to change the Inter tube for both rims but he suggested to just add air and ride it so I saved money on that. Overall great customer service. There were 3 people in line and it only took 20mins to be my turn. Shop locally to invested in your community.”

“Hi, I am posting this under my boyfriends account. My name is Terri and I am 60, this E-Switchy kit is the best invention. I installed it, took about 20 to 30 min. The most trouble was with placing the display box on handle bar. So easy to use, throttle helps me get up the hills around town. I recommend charging tire and display box first. Then you can install then go. Love it. Recommend it. Thank You”

“If you ever visit this shop they always have an assortment of their beach cruisers in front of the store. Well one day I was there to get a spoke fixed on my fixed gear commuter and I decided to test ride one of the cruisers. I was SOLD! I purchased one few weeks later. This is without a doubt the BEST bike I have ever owned and ridden. So comfortable so fast the one gear that it is set to is PERFECT for flat and medium inclines. With my old bike I would never ride on overcast days only sunny. This cruiser is so much fun to ride that I ride no matter what the weather is. Sitting upright allows me to take in the gorgeous Cali scenery and keep a healthy posture. I will never ride another bike for the rest of my life. And for those who are still riding racer style bikes I have one question for you….what’s the hurry? Get a cruiser and enjoy the ride!!!”

“I had a great experience at Als bike shop, they were willing to take an old bike to get store credit, and they have so many options. They mostly sell used bikes or bikes that look somewhat new. Overall its a great store and I would definitely recommend them to anyone that needs a bike, but does not want to spend so much.”

“I went in to Demonns Bike Shop close to closing time unsure if they even had what I needed. I was greeted immediately and put at ease with the way the employee seemed to know what I needed before I could even pull the bike tire out of my backpack. He had the work that took me 30 minutes to do done before I could pull the payment out of my wallet. To top it all off, the whole thing was well below what I thought it would cost. The guys running the place also treated me more like a friend than a customer, which I appreciated as much as anything else. The next time I need anything at all for a bicycle, this will be the only place I'll need to go. I highly recommend Demonns to anyone looking for anything bike related!”

“Coolest bike shop in LA! I’m visiting all the way from London and this place has the widest selection of bikes, electric bikes and scooters I’ve ever seen. I even managed to test ride the Brompton Electric ⚡️ The people were awesome too, Louie and Dan helped me out with my test ride. They even shared some local food spots I can check out nearby🙌🏽🚴🏽”

“Ive lived next to this place all my life and just discovered how great the service is!!!! I asked a question on their website, they replied within an hour, walked in, not appointment, walked out within an hour 😁 there was another guy in there with a Yamaha "exotic" compared to my "toys r us" bike but they made both bikes feel welcomed and looked after! Definitely recommend and now i can see why they have 5 stars 🌟 out of dozens of reviews. I Do Feel Pressured To Give 5 stars But Im Editing My Review to 4 Stars Until I May Require Help From Them Again.”

“good prices, good service and nice people . I've had several pricey bikes fixed at AYJ & they always do good work, their prices are really good and it's one of the best bike shops I found. Ramerio knows bikes , he's honest and a nice guy . I drive from Long Beach to this bike shop near downtown LA, passing countless others because it's the best prices and Ramiero does good work.”

“This man is amazing. I have a 1989 Schwinn Roadbike I bought in NorCal in 2010 as an undergrad and adore my bike. After being run over by a car in 2017 , my front wheel, fork, handle bar, pedals and chain ring were unusable. While all other bike shops told me to give up on my beloved bike, Moises said it would be no problem and brought my bicycle back to life. He understood the bike is special to me and replaced all the damaged components with era equivalent pieces and to this day takes extremely good care of my bike. In order to accommodate for an electric wheel I added to my bicycle, he ensured that I have a steel fork strong enough for the torque. Bring your bike here. It is a small business and might lack a website or even proper recording of bike prices but Moises has been in the area for decades and works for the people of the neighborhood. Any gentrifiers that distrust him should know that they are the reason he had to move from Echo Park and should give Moises a chance as oppose to criticizing him. In pictures, the chrome fork and ebike wheel and the before crash picture.”

“Incredible service and AMAZING prices. The shop is decorated with bycicle pieces and piles of tubes as a diverse set of tires hang from the cieling. Many durable and reasonably bikes for sale as well! My experiences here have always been positive. There is no replacing this place! Last month I tried a different shop and was astonished to find they wanted to charge me $80 to look at my bike without including the pieces needing replacing or. I took it over to DC, and they charged me $25, including the pieces! Whereas the other place wanted to wait a whole week until they could even look at my bike, DC was super fast, friendly, and knowledgeable on all things bike related. Definitely take your bike here if you need a quick fix!”

“Ryky does good work at a fair price. He's incredibly friendly and can talk through a project w/ you to find out what your bike needs. He's very quick at sourcing parts and getting you back on the road! I've been to the shop several times now for everything from a tune up, to getting my wheels trued, to getting new brakes put on. I've always been happy w/ the service provided and will continue to come back.”
