“This Monterey Park institution is famous for their spicy Green Chile Burritos. I got their #8 Burrito plate and it was fantastic. The burrito had some serious heat and the rice & beans tasted fresh and homemade. There are a few tables outside to eat next to the small parking lot. Definitely will be back.”

“Truly excellent Chinese food. This is a wonderful place, the food is nothing short of excellent, and the service is very good. The dining area is small and well appointed and a very pleasant atmosphere to sit and enjoy your food. Each dish we ordered was really great, perfectly seasoned and prepared. The Peking duck was superb and one of the best we've had. We look forward to returning to try some of the other dishes. Totally awesome, highly recommended.”

“The food here is the bomb dot com. All freshly cooked and it's absolutely delicious! I have come here a couple of times to order food, and it's been consistently amazing every time. I believe one of the chefs/owners here used to work at Din Tai Fung before opening her own restaurant. It's a small mom and pop shop with limited seating. There is free parking in the back lot. I don't know if they have changed their rules since covid but the last time I visited, they were only accepting cash. No worries if you don't come with cash, there is a Wells Fargo ATM right across the street near Mcdonald's.”

“If you don't eat spicy food, I'd still recommend you come here- their Original bone soup base with toppings (anything you like would work well) is really good. Not spicy at all. Really flavorful and rich, yet not too much. The little buns were delicious and crispy. On the sweet side but they were yummy. On top of that, service was great. Also they had Buy one get one drink special & offer discount if you pay with cash. No American Express accepted though.”

“I met with a friend after 5pm to try Hot Pot. It was earlier enough to beat the crowd on Friday night. We tried a mix of original and medium spicy broth with a number of cuts off beef and pork, along with some veggies and mushrooms. Spinach is very good as it absorbs the flavor from the broth and having done scallion pancakes it's a treat with whatever you are trying. The servers are very attentive and overall I enjoyed Hot Pot.”
