The dining area is small and well appointed and a very pleasant atmosphere to sit and enjoy your food. Each dish we ordered was really great, perfectly seasoned and prepared. The Peking duck was superb and one of the best we've had. We look forward to returning to try some of the other dishes. Totally awesome, highly recommended.”

The movers showed up at the beginning of the window in which they said they would and they efficiently packed all my things. Nothing was scratched or broken during the move and they put all items in whatever room you asked for. They will ask you if you want plastic wrap which costs extra, but I it provided good protection for my couch. Their customer service is great as well so I definitely recommend them.”

“Arrive a bit early and you get donuts and coffee... Coming back after being gone for a year, it's still a genuine, spirit-filled family experience. I love it. It's also an action-oriented church. They are one of the few churches I see actually serving OTHER churches and ministries. The church members take it upon themselves to pray for and serve other ministers/pastors in LA, holding programs to bring denominations together and helping heal families. Really powerful. They also do a LOT of activities for saving spiritual lives at local colleges around LA (UCLA, PCC, Cypress, Cal State LA & LB, Pomona, East LA)... God bless this church family. Definitely check it out and make sure to take time to talk to the pastors before you leave! 🙏”

Lodged in several places along our journey including Airbnb, Comfort Suites ($210/night), roadway motel, and this Garvey Inn wins out with its spacious room, comfortable bed, room service, 24 hr surveillance for security, and cheaper price. Owner is a Taiwanese who established this place and has been running it for 40 years.”
