Survival of the Fittest Health and Wellness

So I totally get the point of review is to write honest words about the businesses featured, but the thing is there are not enough great words to properly describe SOF Health & Wellness, the trainers, or the owner James O'Rourke. Simply PROFESSIONAL to the MAX!
The classes are legit, they will push you no matter what your fitness level, and there are mods(go ask a kid) for every single exercise or circuit we do. I was recently part of a gym transfer & when James and the new trainers came in, they welcomed us with open arms, did everything in their power to make us feel part of the community and team. We do, and we are! In the 4 months that we have been part of the SOF community I have made countless friends, and feel safe to continue my health and fitness journey in a extremely clean and sanitized environment.

Absolutely one of the best gyms I’ve been to. Workouts are amazing. They’re always checking our form, and pushing me to be my very best. Every trainer has their own style, they are committed to you , your safety and getting what you need. James is the most genuine person, and an amazing trainer. Thankful for my SOF family.

After 30 years away from the gym I really was a little nervous about starting again I met James and decided to give it a shot. So glad I did. James and his staff have been supportive, non judgemental and caring and I am so grateful for not only a great gym but for being part of a supportive family. I really love my SOF family and look forward to being back in the gym again soon. In the meantime they have stepped up and started video and live virtual workouts. Anyone looking for a gym that is so much more than just a gym look no further.

Today was the fifth day in a row that I attended a workout class at Survival of the Fittest...I honestly can't remember the last time I did that at any gym. The trainers are top notch, the classes are small and I have felt welcome in every class. James O'Rourke is to be commended on selecting professional and caring trainers. Howard Tons, Shea Cassidy, Jennifer Quinn and Joan Campbell along with James were the trainers whose classes I took this week. I am grateful to them all for making me feel welcome.

Friendly neighborhood gym with great small classes and awesome trainers. All fitness levels very welcome. I’ve been working with a lower back injury and James, my trainer, has been very good about tweaking the workouts to help my back get stronger. He also recommended a chiropractor, Dr. Taylor Levine at Unruh Spine Center in Newhall to coincide with my workouts. The formula is working!
