World Class Tae Kwon Do

As someone who started martial arts again after a while this class is really nice :) I’ve done both Karate and Tae Kwon Do before at different studios so I can say I have some reference to what martial arts environments are like. The people here are super nice and encouraging, and even if you’re at a different skill level/belt from them you’ll always be encouraged to learn from each-other and try your respective bests. Master Kim is also a very kind and encouraging person. He is very clearly motivated to help each individual grow and reach whatever goal they have in mind. At times I do wonder how he can have such elevated spirits and relentless enthusiasm everyday, but honestly I find it very motivating to be met with such positive and uplifting energy. I’ve grown in athleticism, positive mindset, and discipline. I’ve even grown to be a bit more confident in myself and interacting with new people which I find pretty neat. It’s a wonderful place that makes me want to join in and learn with everyone :D and honestly if you’re considering martial arts in general or TKD specifically you should definitely try classes here too :))

Master Kim is truly a great teacher who has inspired my child with confidence and hard work. We used to go to a Karate dojo, but I didn't feel like he was making much progress there and the instructors just kind of let them run around and do some kicks here and there. We were eating dinner at the restaurant next door one day and walked by and talked to Master Kim and he gave us a trial the next day. Right then I could see he was much more focused and disciplined than the Karate place. At my child's age I don't really care whether it's Karate, Tae Kwon Do, Kung Fu, etc...I just want a good teacher for my child and Master Kim is exactly that.
During a recent belt promotion he had the entire class chanting in unison like they were in the military. It was really impressive to see them all together, and this was a class full of different people that normally don't train together as it was a belt promotion class on a Saturday.
He really wants to instill the value of hard work into the children, that they have to work to earn their belts - it's not just given to them. Whereas at the other place, it was basically just given to them based on how much time they spent training.
My son really didn't want to go to the karate place, it was a chore to get him to go - but with Master Kim he is excited to go every time, he is excited to practice at home, he is excited for the recognition he gets when his hard work pays off. Master Kim is very good at being tough yet encouraging - exactly what you want in a teacher.
Another thing to note is that Master Kim is sweating after every practice. He doesn't just tell the kids what to do, he does it with them. If you are thinking of trying out a martial art and aren't sure, don't hesitate! You won't regret it! Adults go too, and I would love to join myself later in the year if my schedule permits.

Master KiM a wonderful “World Class Tae Kwon Do” master. At first went for my elder kid to introduce martial arts with no or little hope we will enroll, and as we went through first few classes for my son i was much inspired and enrolled myself. Today i have achieved an yellow belt with much support and inspiration master Kim put in to my head. If you are in search of Martial arts for Children recommend Tae Kwon Do. And specifically in Santaclarita, castaic and Valencia regions definitely recommend “World-class Tae Kwon Do”

I have 3 kiddos who started class here with Master Kim. The first couple days little ones were crying due to being scared, nervous out of their comfort zone. Master Kim is so kind and sweet with them, making them laugh, making them feel welcome and now they ask to go all the time. My oldest son loves it. Master Kim is so respectful, kind , and treats all the kids very well. They have improved already with just the 3 weeks they have been attending. Thank you MASTER KIM

Master Kim is a WONDERFUL teacher and taekwondo master! My son began with him as a white belt, and Master Kim was the perfect blend of high expectations mixed with positive reinforcement and humor. He is super funny, he loves the kids, and you can feel how much he wants the kids to succeed!
