“I had such a wonderful experience. The hostess Faith, was amazing. I had walked in for information on there pies. Faith, helped me with all my questions, she made suggestions, and she even gave me some samples to try. I finally made my selection, apple pie sugar free, delicious. Before I left she gave an extra pie, to take home. Thanx Faith. You made my day…that pie gave everyone, especially my nephew, a big smile..it was his birthday. “First time here for dine in. I enjoyed the teriyaki salmon with California roll, veggie tempura, rice and steamed veggies. We also ordered the chicken teriyaki. Both dishes were served in foam to go containers, nothing wrong with that but it feels more like take out than a dime in experience. The food was fresh, served hot and we enjoyed the Teriyaki flavoring and dipping sauce. My only comment and why this review is short of 5 stars, is because there is no public restroom. I feel the fine in food establishments should give the consumer access to the restroom. And I’m a green tea lover, there is no green tea only black tea. Parking is easy and food was served quickly. Overall a good dining experience. I would return and bring green tea from home 😀”

“These tacos never fail, the salsas are spicy, the tacos are full of flavor they're delicious. My top one is Al Pastor it is so well done and spicy. My other favorites are cabeza y asada. What I like about the asada tacos from here is that saben asar la carne they don't use that nasty pellejuda meat that looks boiled that most taco trucks use for their asada. My kids favorite is the combo plate, they really enjoy the beans they have a little bit of spice to them and taste home made and they add a good amount of meat and tortillas along. Please never change.”

“Ruby’s is a bit of a traditional concept that won’t be a draw for the hipster craft crowds. But know that it is a very good tribute to that nostalgic era of the greatest generation and the decade after the big band went the way of the Beatles. The food remains of high quality. This is a family place to bring the kids. We were here on a summer Friday night for the car show. So expect to hear some guys talking about their builds. The service is friendly. Although our server was a bit slow this time. Took too long to refill and get our order taken. The Cobb salad is standard fare. I was trying to be healthy. It has plenty of mushrooms and tomato and lettuce. Could use a bit more bacon. Overall a good Cobb. Now the turkey sandwich is a go-to for wifey every time we come here. Its super tasty turkey breast and cranberries remind her of post-Thanksgiving leftover sandwiches.”

He recommended the uptown special pizza and meat lovers pizza. I added 2 sides of wings. The pizza was loaded with meat and veggies!! This place is delicious you won't regret it. “Hello everyone. This is a great place for seafood. There are many menu items to choose from. There are fish tacos, fish and shrimp platters to choose from. This is a cash only place, but they do provide an ATM machine to the right of the order window. There is plenty of seating and food service is quick. “Came in on a Sunday at noon. Place was filled with patrons n people waiting outside. A sure sign that this place was good. We were seated and invited to serve ourselves. Great array of foods including omelets, pancakes, ceviche, green Chile, Chile Verde, rice, beans chicken fajitas. Salads and fruits and pan dulce.. wow. Micheladas n margaritas are served. “Customer service was great, the lady who worked there was friendly and patient, we didn’t realize it was cash only and she held onto our order until we came back from the 7/11 across the street. 10/10 My birria quesadilla was really good but it had way too much cheese and overpowered the great flavor of the birria, next time I’ll know to ask for less queso. The consome was really good as well. They gave plenty of limes and radishes as well, which was a plus. My friend enjoyed her quesotacos (I think that’s what they were called). It was pretty messy to eat, so that was a plus as well! 8/10 The only reason I didn’t give a full 5 stars is due to it being overpriced and they were out of drinks. Will probably come back again if I’m in the area.”

“Highly recommended!! Had 5 tacos “Al Pastor” en 1 “Carne asada”. They were really great in flavor and meat felt really fresh. The tortillas are absolutely delicious and also thicker than any other Taqueria in LA. The lady at the counter (Maybe “La Wera” herself) was very nice and polite. The restaurant is clean and restrooms also very clean. I really appreciate that. Sure will come back next time I’m around.”

“It seems that it's always busy, never have I been able to go in and walk out with my pizza, unless I order in advance. You can call and pre order or go online and place your order. Good pizza, crazy bread and cheese bread... Not best place for wings in my opinion, they are just ok. Friendly staff. Prices are very affordable, pretty good selection of toppings. Having the app makes things a lot easier when ordering, but don't expect loyalty no matter how many times you go there. They have no rewards, I have been ordering a pizza and crazy bread every Friday for the past 6 months and have yet earned a free pizza, or free anything, 😢 not great.”
