Music is for college age (whereas the music was for high schoolers at the 92-Erlo Johnson St location and fast Latin hits at the Simpson Rd location). “This place is outstanding! Came here looking for a last minute Easter treat idea for my mom and this place did not disappoint. I was looking for something fruity with my mom's two favorite being peach and mango. To my surprise they actually have a Peach Mango mousse cake so that made things easy. I was helped by a friendly employee behind the counter that was very helpful and packaged everything up nicely. Then I asked about how much time the cake could be out of refrigeration since I had to take the Gold line train home. She informed me the mousse cakes are frozen and should be thawed about 2 hours before slicing. That was pretty much the perfect situation for myself. Got a cake combined with moms two favorites and the cake survived the sunny commute home. Flavor wise, the cake was delicious. The mousse was flavorful and not loaded with sugar, the glaze was not too thick and didn't take away from the rest of the flavors. They sell cakes and also small individual pastries and coffee. Their biggest cake will run about $39 and their smallest was $24 I believe. I will definitely be returning.”

“I may have waited in line about an hour to order, and then maybe stood around for about 30 or 40 minutes for the bagels to be prepared. Wait was long, but it was so so worth it. My favorite part was the onion bagel. The smoked salmon and wild alaskan roe toppings were great, but i think the bagel is what made it amazing. The bread is so soft in the inside, and crispy on the outside - you will hear the soft crunch when you take your bite Into the bagel. So delicious! Also half a bagel is actually very filling. I suggest getting two halves of different bagels to try a variety. Was little disappointed though that there was not much seating. We had the eat in the car, but still not that upset since the food was great.”

“Cute little donut shop in a strip mall. The donuts were light and airy, not dense. The twist was fried to a perfect golden brown and glazed just right. My husband enjoyed his cream filled Bismarck. He was especially delighted that he got cream with every bite, so they don’t skimp on their fillings here. Overall, Mandilon stands up to all of the best donut places all over the country. Upon arriving I came across a long line, but I figured all the 31 flavors was worth the wait to satisfy our sweet craving. Nevertheless, I came across the most outstanding individual that held the commitment to provide the most excellent service even when being the only serving all 15 craving customers ahead of me. After Sunday, banana Sunday, creative creation, mangonada, and double scoop— DJ nailed it each one with a sweet touch. Thank you, for the smiles, and excellent customer service. “The lava cakes are really good! They're essentially flavored crusts around the leaky bun egg stuff you find in dim sum. It's probably a bit sweeter than the leaky bun stuff but it works very well as dessert. The other mooncake style pasties are much more mild compared. Good for people who want less sweet. Not my favorite but still good for some. Unfortunately, they're not cheap. The service was good and I'd definitely recommend everyone try each of them! I've had their cakes a few times and each time did not disappoint. Service was also good. The cashier was nice and helpful.”

“I wish I lived in Gardena so I could go to MamMoth Bakery more often. My wife and I buy three loaves of their thick-sliced bread for breakfast toast. Even after being frozen for over a week, the bread tastes fresh and delicious. Also they have very unique Japanese style PAN: one with masago and mayo, another with corn and Japanese canned tuna, and a ham and cheese one. They are delicious and under $3 each. You got to get there early to get the PAN, though. They run out sometimes.”
