I was in Texas and dealing with the funeral home preparing her when we were worried about flying her back to L.A but let me tell you they coordinated everything with them promptly. “Immediately after the passing of my stepfather, we needed to locate a cremation service. Subsequently, I called at least 5 different companies, including 2 that have name's associated with the sea (you can figure it out). I could not believe that during my initial calls, that only two of the businesses seemed compassionate and offered condolences for our loss. I know it seems silly, but what terrible business practice not to be compassionate during one of the most difficult times for a family. Well one of the only two businesses to offer not only compassion, but exemplified the meaning of compassion and professionalism was LA Cremation. I initially called on a Sunday morning. Within a few minutes, my call was returned and we were immediately greeted with their condolences and a complete rundown of their services. This was all delivered compassionately without feeling like a sales pitch. The representative then set up a telephone conference for the following morning with the counselor that would be working directly with us. The following morning, I received a call from Daisy, who was amazing. She was incredibly kind, thoughtful, compassionate and extremely professional. Daisy provided incredible concierge service and assisted us in every step of the way. She consistently remained in contact with us throughout the entire process and provided up with updates. Lastly, the cost with LA Cremation was less than half of what was quoted to me by the cremation company that rhymes with "autotune." Overall, I cannot express how pleased we have been with LA Cremation and Daisy. Thank you Daisy for helping us though this difficult time.”

They helped take away so many unnecessary stress a family has to deal with when losing a loved one. “Granted the funeral home itself is not the best looking as for terms where you would like to say your goodbyes to your loved one but the the staff is great and they truly are caring. My father passed away suddenly and as far as money we were limited on what we could afford to cremate him. ( you’re getting what you pay for) and we visited 13 funeral homes with the radius of this one.We met with Joe who runs the office and he was incredibly patient and helpful and made sure we didn’t rush the process and got everything we wanted. Walter the director and Joe were so helpful as we ran across many issues with the city corner but they kept us updated along the way. I’m out of state and It took six months before the coroner, even released my father’s death certificate, and they kept me updated the entire time and without hesitation next day, mailed the certificates once they receive them. They took every single one of my calls and outrageous requests due to the circumstances of my father‘s passing. They may not be Michelin stars of funeral homes, but they took amazing care of us.”

“My mom passed away six years ago and I felt overwelmed and numb all at the same time. Veronica, who worked there at the time was very kind and patient with me and my sister. We live in Long Beach and was not sure if the location was too far away. But to our surprise it was not very far at all. It's very peaceful, and I love seeing the Mariachi Bands singing to their family members whom have passed away. My only criticism six years ago was that the painting on the Nitch wall was very old and peeling, and the name plates were crooked. But when I brought it to Veronica's attention it was all fixed within a few weeks. Now as of three years ago my nephew is resting peacefully there as well. R.I.P Mama ❤️ and Christopher 💙”

“I hope to never have to bury anyone else in my life time. If I did or someone asked for a recommendation I’d recommend this place EVERYTIME. I had a very sensitive family matter. My sister was trying to bury my brother without allow me and my little sister to go. She’s 9 -10 years older then us. Always a jealousy thing. Regardless, once I spoke to this business they wouldn’t allow it due to moral and religious beliefs. What religion? Doesn’t matter. In the end they refused to work with her unless we all came together. Had it went another way and they chose money over morals they might as well had buried me too. I would have been hurt for a life time. In the end we came together and buried our brother. They were very sweet too. Eliana and the lawyer for this business are special kinda people. Their parents and God are proud. The funeral turned out beautiful. It was huge and they were able to keep the crowd down. Brave enough to deal with a huge crowd. Eliana and the woman from the Ontario location made our experience very memorable. I will never forget them and how they “held my hand” through the toughest thing I’ve ever had to do. I wasn’t taken advantage of as someone with zero knowledge of funerals or burials. Praying God bless them and protect them. Thank you again Decofamilia.”

I was out of state when it happened, and was turned down by 8 other funeral homes that were too full before Boyd said they would help us. They were able to keep my husband's body safe and have him cremated for me, and Candy was patient with my questions. I am so grateful for their help. Today I called them again because I had a bill from the county related to his processing and I wasn't sure if it was legit- Robert remembered my husband, explained everything for me, and after my question was resolved he actually asked me if I had been doing ok. I was really touched, generally at this point no one asks me that anymore. Thank you!!!”
