“Great small park. Good for when you don't want to trek to a huge park and be over run by people. Bigger kids play lot is separate from little ones play lot, so bonus points for that. Nice shady grassy knoll for picnics and trees for climbing.”

“Gorgeous. Peaceful. Serene. Magical. Quiet. Living. A call back to ages past when peoples' lives were shaped around the movements of the golden sphere above and the wooden beasts below instead of around the ever-tightening shackles of the silicon idol. The trees and greenery in general are beautiful. You can take a stroller on a simple walk or go on a more difficult hike.”

“Fantastic cycle up to the top of Mt Tam. Long ass pedal but worth it for the epic smooth return downhill and lovely views. There are a few other trails criss crossing so take a map or GPS device if your first time exploring and more fluids and food than you think if going further afield. Especially if hot!”

“Great little campground to rest in after cycling from Oakland. $7 To camp at the Hike & Bike Site. Hike and Bike Campground is number 3 which is under the trees and get rain precipitating from the trees at night so bring a good waterproof tent, not a minal coversheet like one poor girl had setup under when I arrived in the dark to discover. It's cold and foggy in the mornings but the sun hits the north western corners of the car park so you can dry out your tent and gear. Rangers were nice helpful and friendly, they tried to help fix a flat on a guy's pickup the next morn. Bike repair station is a great touch for Cyclists.”

“This is one of the most gorgeous places for a walk in the Bay. It is a little tricky in places (rocks/roots in trail, just be careful) but for the most part not very difficult. It smells so nice, especially after the rain!”

“It's a great place to go sometimes I go here a lot at night they have a restroom that is always open and very convenient for stopping by and using that if you're in a hurry to get somewhere but sometimes the parking lot is full of cars because people do yoga or something at the park in the morning and it's kind of a small parking lot but other than that I would say it's a great park and it has a bathroom which is very important to me and I love that.”

“Cool area, lots of little campgrounds around if that's your thing. I think most of them only charge about $4 a night. Unfortunately they don't have any free camping, and don't take kindly to just setting up in the woods. Be sure to hit up Meir woods if you visit.”

“Can't beat the view while watching your kid's soccer games. For that alone it deserves 5 stars. But parking is a bit of a walk away, but easy enough at the MVMS parking lot.”
