“I met the purveyor the day of my visit. He was a very nice guy. I told him it was my first time there and he said it would be the best fried chicken I ever had. I’m Black, from Chicago, and 51 years old. So I took his comment with a grain of salt. He was close! It was the best chicken tender I’ve ever had, if not quite the best fried chicken. I’ll definitely return, and I’ll have to come all the way from Hayward to do it.”
