“This is the third time we rent vacation homes through Tahoe Signature Properties. As always, the experience was smooth and positive. Their website is beautiful, house descriptions and pictures accurate and up to date, and the communication with the manager is quick and on point. This time we rented Charming Mountain Family Cabin. It must be a new rental on the market. Everything in the house was brand new: appliances, towels, bed sheets, furniture. It was such a pleasure! Nest thermostat, remote controlled fireplace, high end appliances. The house is sunny with great views. The backyard is sloped, which made for great improvised sledding place. It is a short drive from all the fun in Truckee and Tahoe area. We will be back for sure!”

“Fred has been cutting my hair for 30 years. I travel quite a bit and allways wait until I return home to get my hair cut even if I am gone for several months. Fred is great with the clippers, and offers booster shampoo that leave my hair with body like it had when I was young. I recommend giving Fred a call and booking an appointment. “Huge shout out to the crew at Pacos! They really delivered when needed. I had a minor repair that took about 30 minutes on my mt bike. Other shops in Truckee, told me to come back in a few days or make an appointment as they were too busy (I get it, staffing shortages, holiday weekend, Truckee is busy). Pacos on the other hand, fixed it the same afternoon so that I did not need to miss a few days of riding. To make things even better, they offered me a beer while I waited and I talked about bike trails and I shared riding stories with some of the staff. This deserves highly recommended in my book! We have a lot of bike shops in Truckee, many are very good and provide good service but being told to wait a few days for a 30-minute repair sucks.”

I got a burrito with enchilada sauce, the flavor was good but the temperature was cold. My husband had the tacos and said they were very good. Overall a pretty good experience. Would recommend if you’re craving Mexican food.”

“We had such an awesome whitewater experience with Tahoe Whitewater Tours. We went on the Truckee River in mid August, as it was my first time, and it was a good mix of relaxing, swimming in the river at a few swimming holes and experimenting really fun rapids. It was very well organized and all the guides were fun, especially Skylar, as he made learning about the sport fun and easy to remember. Our raft guide was Izzy and she was so knowledgeable, calm and helped guide us through some tough areas and tough situations. She was funny and confident. The photographer, Chris was so awesome. They offer a thumb drive with photos and I highly recommend getting this, as you will get photos throughout your trip on a thumb drive by the end of the trip. I was very impressed how quickly he captured all the moments on the camera, organized them and got them on a thumb drive, all in time for us to take home. I highly recommend the Truckee River with Tahoe Whitewater Tours, for first timers and children, and other rivers for more experienced individuals.
