They call them "burritos," but they look more like soft flautas or soft flour rolled up tacos. I call them "breakfast flautas." They are super slim. “This place has the best food. It is all made fresh with love, and you can taste it. The bagels are the only bagels I have found in CA that actually compares to an East Coast bagel. They have a huge variety of bagels, food from the grill, smoothies, and juices. I usually get the bacon avocado burger. I don't know what they put in the burgers, but honest to God, it's the best burger I've ever eaten. I haven't eaten another burger since trying the ones at Avalon. “This has turned out to be a great curbside take out place for us during the covid pandemic. They take your order over the phone (including payment). These are the places we prefer to pick up at now. We usually order one of the lunch specials. Lots of good food for the price. Its usually a spaghetti and an Alfredo dish. They had a little mix up last order and we got to try a tortellini..oh my gosh I can't believe how good that tasted. “This place is pretty good! We got a couple of poke dishes with 3 protein items as well as some additions such as wasabi, sesame and seaweed spices, and other stuff. They have rice that you can put at the bottom of the protein but we elected for greens and it was fantastic. “There are several Mexican restaurants in Old Town Placentia, including one that seemingly everyone says is the best not just here, but for miles. This however, is our favorite, though admittedly we've many left to try. Not among the fanciest but it is bright and clean and for flavor, generous portions, and price, not to mention fast friendly service, it's going to take quite a bit to find a better place. It is my habit, on an initial visit to have my goto combo. Shredded beef enchiladas, rice and beans. The beef was well seasoned and the colorado (it"s a color, not a state ????) was a deep red and among the best I've had elsewhere. The sided were ample with a generous amount of cheese on the beans. In translation the food lives up to the tasty name. SABROSO, INDEED!”
