“I came here on New Year's Eve which could have been an off night but it was not. I asked for a regular bowl, brown rice, with green onions, no veggies and half chicken half tofu. The prices for the proteins were the same and they were happy to oblige even though that combination was not on the menu. They made it up fast and it was delicious! The main reason I'm leaving this review even though I never do that is not only because they deserve it but because I absentmindedly forgot to tip. “First Ike here. Called John to see if they service diesel trucks. Apparently not many smog check places do. Fortunately he does. Great first impression while calling in. Added bonus he offered me a discount. I came in at 4:55 and the young man at the counter greeted me with a smile, not like my past experience with other shoos(sorry we are closing and shooing me a away). The to boot the waiting area far above the rest, very welcoming to all ages and relaxing. A little history, a little stress relief with the aquarium abs then for your entertainment movie playing if your in the mood. While siting in the waiting area, not minutes later, my truck was pulled to the back to be tested. What service, mind you they already other clients waiting. So far I’m so happy I found this shop and I wouldn’t have minded paying full price.”

“This was definitely a hole in the wall vibe. The inside feels like you have been transported to the 70s. The food was also authentic and homemade. I ordered the chicken enchiladas plate. It was delicious, but the Verde sauce had some spice in case you can't handle that. My husband ordered the carnitas and rates it 7.5 out of 10 ten being the best he's ever had. We dug the food and atmosphere so will come again and try other dishes.”
