Wild and crazy stuff going on here! Want it modified? Lifted? Lowered... pop buy and see a younger crowd at work.
Went to a car show here and it was stellar. The shop was really rad and the people were super nice.
Eric Garcia from NorCal 4x4 Recovery ( a facebook page), recommended this shop to me. I spoke to Rick Wallen, the owner at FN Customs and explained I had a turbo to swap out on my 2014 Ford F150 3.5l Twin Turbo Ecoboost, but that I also wanted to swap out the rigid coolant lines to soft lines, as they are prone to leak at any point in time (some as early as 30k miles, others at a commendable 170k).
Rick and his shop took on my project with full confidence and I'm happy to convey my satisfaction and recommendation for the quality work, and quick turn around time, this shop offers. They took the time to complete the research I started to swap out the engine block fittings to accept AN fittings, and the same on the turbo side. The AN fittings allowed them to swap out the factory rigid lines over to more serviceable soft lines (with heat shields).
I'll be posting in my F150 Forums to recommend this shop for any local Ford owners with this specific problem, but also for anyone looking for truly custom work. I was positive Custom FN Customs could handle this custom project, and I'm ecstatic to report that they'll soon be offering a customized soft line conversion kit as well. It's great to find a local shop that offers customized, quality work, with great service. Thanks!
If you need anything done, this is the place. I have known the owner for a long time, he is a great guy and talented car builder. He helped me with my Ford 9" reared for my 1967 Mustang, very good attention to detail.
I took my drift car here it was having problems with my turbo, Rick (the owner) and Jake jumped on it immediately and figured out my wastegate was bad. Collin gave me a few choices on wastegates and explained the best one for my set up. Rick and Jake ended up building be a better turbo set up with the new wastegate and got my car figured out. The car has been to several events since and is still going strong, I can't thank those guys enough.
P.s. I took the car back after a decent accident while competing and Jesse built me a custom DOM tube front with their in house tubing bender that fit perfectly to put my fenders and bumper on and the body lines came out almost factory. These guys are miracle workers and we have been talking about building a new and improved cage for my car. I'll be back to get that built and installed. I can't wait to work with them again!
