“Pic is from the beach at parking lot 9. On the reservation map, Quail looked like the tent locations were more spaced out. Couldn't tell if anything was going on at either amphitheater, but the museum is only open Friday? Bring your own beach chair and shade in case you don't get a picnic table at the beach. The camp has flush toilets, a shower, a dumpster nearby (don't leave food or trash out at night), running water nearby, a drinking fountain at the bathroom, and friendly employees. Google Maps says this is in Moreno Valley which is technically true, but it's actually in Lake Perris SRA. LoL, someone said that the firewood was cheaper at the Stater Brothers but unless you're already going there it's a 20 minute drive so if you're only getting one or 2 bundles, it's worth getting it at the campground gate (time and gas) but if you need other supplies, the shopping area around the Stater Bros is huge, including a Walmart Supercenter and most fastfood restaurants.”

“Excellent! Monday through Friday breakfast is excellent. Eggs made to order...including omelets. Breakfast room has terrible acoustics! Very noisy if "full". Not all items on website are currently offered...no afternoon cookies, no on-site dinner menu/service. Tacos on the patio four nights a week. Limited offerings. Rooms are great.”

“Pretty kept up. Most homeowners keep to themselves and small groups. Very child friendly with access to pool and playground. Rent is doable with a decent income. Although Management shifts kind of frequently, most everything is consistent for community guidlines.”

“Nice campground. The camp sites are a little close for comfort - basically the sites are like 2.5-wide parking spots on either side of the main road. I can comfortably fit my 5th-wheel trailer with the slides out next to my pick up truck in the parking spot, but there’s no margin in between your spot and your neighbor’s. The full hookup sites have 30A and 20A electrical hookups and water, but the big downside is that the drains are only for gray water - you can’t drain your black tank at your site. There’s a designated dump station at the campground, but it’s a hassle if you’re staying for more than a few days and you have to hook up the trailer and drive over to the dump station and then re-park and set everything back up at your site. The views of Lake Perris are really nice and the campground itself is very scenic and well laid out with hiking trails and a decent beach. There is a bit of a problem with litter on the ground and in the water though. Prices are a little high with no weekly discounts, compared to other campgrounds and RV parks, but I guess that’s to be expected in California.”

“Great job receptionist clerks Martha, Ari, Adrianna and the Housekeeping Staff! These ladies are always Earth Angels when I am here visiting the MoVal area. They make sure my stay is always exceptional! All the times that I have stayed here (in different hotel rooms) it has always been clean comfortable and quiet. If I needed any accommodations these ladies (mentioned above) and the housekeeping staff made it first priority to service my request. Thanks Marriott team and housekeeping for making my every stay Great!”

“Absolutely amazing state campground. Clean restrooms, hot free showers, plenty of spaces and fairly easy even for a novice trailer owner to back into. Cool that tent campers share the same area as well. Quick walk to the beautiful lake and beach. Don’t miss the dam either, very cool. Only a few miles from the city of Perris yet feels like you’re in the great outdoors. We now store our travel trailer nearby for great camping here.”

“Very nice area. I visited some family with my family lol. I would go again. Finally reviewing so Google Maps will stop nagging me about it. And Google Maps keeps nagging me to review places I haven't been to but I've passed them in car or was nearby them. Just thought I'd let you guys know that. Google isn't always accurate about pinpointing where we are.”

“I am a proud mobile home owner at New Horizon Mobile Park and it is still the best decision that I have made. I live very comfortably and I feel safe. My neighbors are respectful hard working people. Our Horizon managers work very hard to keep our small community clean, orderly and safe for all of us and our families. The management team is strong and they stand by our park rules and this is a plus in maintaining a safe environment. The speed bumps are great because they keep our children (which play outdoors at all times) and our pets safe from fast approaching vehicles. I also like that oil spills and other chemicals are not spilled on our grounds for we want to keep ourselves protected from harmful chemicals. I strongly recommend making New Horizon Mobile Park your home!”

“This is an excellent part that never fails to attract the right crowd or family. It is always clean and well maintained. I yet have to witness anything other than smiles at this park. I highly recommend for your family and/or kids. Another thing I can add is that crime and violence is at the very minimal here meaning that I have not once noticed anything inappropriate at this park.”

“I stayed here with my son. The room was clean and comfortable. The owner went out of his way to make our stay pleasant. My son absolutely LOVED the giant dinosaurs in the garden. Parking my car in the covered port was extremely nice, coming out to a hot car is horrible and so this was perfect. I would gladly stay here again!”
