Lake Hemet Campground

Amazing location!! Definitely worth the price for lake view!!! Swim zone was SUPER NICE there was even an area where you couldn’t touch the floor which is something I really loved about the swim zone!! The store on site was just great and has anything you could possibly need! Favorite camping spot!

Going camping means sharing an area of ​​nature with other people who feel the same way. This brings joy and excitement to everyone enjoying the place.

Lake Hemet Campground has it all with a spectacular view of the lake filled with water and surrounding wildlife.
We enjoyed the long Labor Day weekend with a lot of people around (the groups around us behaved very well, respecting quiet hours and cleanling) plus a few more days of solitude and quiet. At this time we enjoy nature in full, sight of wild animals, the noises of the night. Marvelous!!.
The staff of the place were very friendly.
It was an unforgettable experience. Highly recommend, we came in an RV.

We absolutely love Lake Hemet!! We have stayed 3 years in a row with completely unique incredible experiences!! What a treat to go back to our fave site and have the Lake at our doorstep!! Unbelievable how gorgeous and huge the Lake is now!! My Son N Law and Grandson fished all 3 days right at site and we were treated with the best fish dinners!! We are so grateful as the bathroom is so clean and accessible! We have rented boats and really enjoyed our time on the lake- We swam for a while and enjoyed every second ! The water was awesome temp!! Can’t wait to go back soon!!

We have been enjoying our family camping trips at Lake Hemet Campground for over 14yrs now. Our family grew and now has our stays at the Campground. Adding other family members to join us on everlasting memories. I love how great they are with our needs. Water level has risen making lakefront sites unforgettable. Fishing is always a plus with the 5 of is fishing 42yr old down to 5yr old). We're looking forward to our next trip 🏕

Looking for a local place to camp with beautiful views, friendly staff and LOTS to do? Hemet Lake is perfect. My kids enjoyed the lake and all the shoreline to (learn) fish as well as huge grounds to bike around in. Next time we’ll be bringing a basketball as they were excited to see the hoops. Even our dogs loved the dog park.

There are boats you can rent for a reasonable rate and that was the real highlight of our trip.

There is ice cream at the market and we were so busy, my kids reminded me were never tried it 🤣 That will be a must on our next trip.

Also, there is a swimming spot at the lake. No more inflatables but the kids had a great time cooling off.

I can’t say enough how much we enjoyed the campground and it was a 45 minute drive from our home so it was a no-brainer. We look forward to our next adventure there!
