“This is an ordinariate church. The Mass is based on the pre-Vatican II format. It is very spiritual and respectful toward Our Lord Jesus! The Tabernacle is on the altar, and only the priest gives out communion. There are no women altar servers. Communion is given on the tongue with people kneeling in respect. So beautiful and loving! “I was in a unique situation with the court when I reached out to Attorney Daniel C. McCammon. My wife and I had already had our judgement entered and signed by the judge. During the time prior to expiration of time and final divorce being permanent, we were able to reconcile through counselling. With only weeks from the divorce date, Hemet Court told me I would not be able to cancel the case in time and that the child custody, support (spousal and child), division of property and the entire judgement was inevitable. I was calling around in a panic and no attorney wanted to take the case because they didn't think (they obviously didn't know) how to successfully make this happen. After calling and speaking with the paralegal for the consult, she also was not sure if the case would be possible, but she took the time to speak with an attorney (Daniel McCammon), who then got on the phone with me. I again explained the situation and he told me that in 200 years of combined experience at the firm, this would be the first time they would handle the cancellation of a divorce after entered judgement signed by a judge, but prior to final divorce date. He was very compassionate and even told me, "In this family law business we are always looked at as the bad guy by one side or the other. I would be honored to be a part of fighting to actually save a marriage". Attorney McCammon told me how time was of the essence and the filings would have to be done ASAP. He was able to get an ex-parte hearing which was able to be put on calendar the very next day. The paperwork that he wrote up in defense of our marriage and explanation of request to set aside judgement and dismiss the case was very well thought out and explained to us in detail. He also took the time to explain to both of us, what exactly this dismissal meant, and the legal implications (basically starting from scratch) if we were not 100% on our decision. He did it!! Within 10 days from my initial call, the entire judgement was set aside and the case was dismissed. Attorney McCammon then took an extra step and shared with me some personal information and testified how happy he was to save a marriage rather than get a judgement to end one. The communication, professionalism and compassion in my case was second to none. My brother is a corporate law attorney and in my profession I have also dealt with many attorneys on both sides of the criminal, family and civil law.
