This place is a life saver. I had a charity event where I had to wear a tuxedo as Spider-Man and unfortunately the tux I had didn’t work out. This all happened on the same day of the event. I walked into David’s tailor shop with my problem and he helped me get a tux right away. Not only did he provide me with a tux but he ensured it looked fantastic. Highly recommend. We had a wedding dress emergency 4 days before the big day. We took the dress to David, and he said that he would have it ready. A few months ago my now-husband and I were looking for a place to have his suit and my wedding dress altered. Macy's recommended David's Tailor and my husband's suit was altered perfectly! We were very pleased. I discussed what I wanted changed with my wedding dress and David said he wanted to wait until it was closer to the wedding. So just over two months before the wedding day, I brought my dress in to have five layers of material hemmed, the bustle put in place and take in the bust area. I have never had a wedding dress altered before, so I was a little nervous about how everything would turn out, but David assured me that he would be the only one working on my dress and would have it done in a relatively quick amount of time. A few weeks later I went in to try it on and it fit me absolutely perfect! The hem was a bit longer than we had discussed, but I appreciated a slight longer length versus the alternative. He kept it one more day to take the hem up just a tad and had it ready for me the following afternoon. The bust area that was a bit too large on me, now fit me like a glove and I still can not tell where any stitches were changed, completely unnoticeable. The part I loved the most: David took the extra effort to put in a french bustle that is more time consuming but really complimented the dress to its full potential. I am recommending that my best friend goes to him for her wedding dress alterations next summer and I will be spreading the word about how great he is! I also had a dress altered for my dress rehearsal for the wedding and it came out perfect as well! Thanks to David, I had a seamless day, starting with the perfect alterations done to my dress.
