I had my work done by Karo who went above and beyond. He answered any questions I had and didn't make me feel like just another girl that didn't know anything about cars like other places I've been to. He was extremely honest as well, which was quite refreshing after dealing with other auto shops. Yes the shop doesn't look as nice as the Mercedes or BMW shop does but if you don't want to over pay for work and still get quality work and service then you should try this place out. They let me know I had a cracked oil pump gear and referred to to a great spot for a replacement part. “This company saved me needless expense. I had recently had the broken right-hand mirror module on my Honda replaced with a new one, and the remote adjuster stopped working shortly after the repair. The shop owner said i needed a new switch. When he said he would have to send someone to pick up the switch remotely, I volunteered to go myself, since I had an errand in Sacramento the next day. I called Rancho from Sacramento and spoke to Richard. When i told him the left-hand adjuster worked, he said the switch, which was a toggle, wasn't the problem. He said the wire had probably come loose wire inside the door. When the shop owner insisted it was the switch, I got a neighbor to look at it. The wire had indeed come completely out of the connection, and was hanging loose. It was an 80+ mile trip, but totally worth it! Net cost: beer and pizza with the neighbor. The gas cost was offset by saving 35 bucks for an unnecessary part.”

He knew exactly what it was that he had to order it and could get it there in a day or two and I came back and it wasn't there yet, but I came back and he had two he let me pick from top crank or side crank it was up to me. I would trust him with any kind of trailer from boat to heavy dumpster to the camper trailer. You can tell he has a lot of knowledge.”

“Very good repair shop. Up front and honest. Definitely not THE CHEAPEST repair shop you will find. But if you know ANYTHING about auto repair, you definitely don't want the cheapest repair. You want the best priced QUALITY repair you can get. As well as an up front mechanic that will keep you up to date with the situation with your vehicle at all times. You will get that here. The owner is a good honest guy from my interaction with him and because I am a mechanic myself I know what I am talking about. But I definitely don't FEEL like doing major repairs, getting too old. I summary, Carcanix is the BEST place you can take your vehicle, not the CHEAPEST. If your looking for the cheapest, don't bother coming here in my opinion. Reading the reviews made me laugh because they clearly were wrong and didn't represent Claude and this company AT ALL. Claude was amazing to me and even though I mistakenly asked for lighter tint on the front windows and decided to go darker he instantly took it off and made it the way I wanted and I absolutely love it. He also did my girlfriends car which was also amazing and flawless. He taught me about the window care and also gave me window cleaner.I will refer everyone to him without hesitation.
