“New place... customer service is A++++ makes all the difference and the food is A++++. The bakery items were so soft and fresh.... so glad they opened in the north. I usually go to La Esperanza, but I think we're breaking up now that El Trigal is closer to me. Sorry La Esperanza, but I still love your tamales.”

“My boys really like the BBQ pork buns. We usually go on weekends, so there is usually a line, but the wait is never long. They only accept cash and debit cards. The only item I probably won't order again is the large steamed chicken bun, but besides that, everything we've ordered has been delicious, especially the egg tart.”

“This place has amazing doughnuts, made fresh each morning. Great friendly staff. Only thing bad I can say about it is that there's alot of homeless lingering in the area asking for change.”

“Different concept for donuts! They have lots of fun and unique flavors including seasonal ones like pumpkin to eco or pumpkin cheesecake (came in the fall). The fill your own donuts are cool. They give you a little syringe with your choice from 4 flavors.”

“We stopped here on a whim after a underground tour, and we so happy we did! These were so delicious! We tried the chocolate and powdered sugar - both were good, but the powdered ones were supreme! Beignet-like in texture and taste, we would have been happy with just those. Definitely a must-try!”

“These may be the absolute best donuts I’ve ever had in my life. They were crispy and delicious and not overly sweet. A lot of the donuts also looked very different from donuts I’ve seen in the past. I would absolutely recommend giving this place a go and I will definitely be back to try some of the others. We ordered four donuts… 3 plain janes and a bisto bleezie. Our total was $8.”

“Buttery, sweet, and moist deliciousness! I was looking to find a German Chocolate cake and had called the same day to see if she had one available. I was especially interested because German chocolate cake is Terri's fave and where her love of baking originated. Terri said she already had a bunch of orders to make that day and that it's best to call 48hours in advance (remember to do this!). An hour or so later, she called me back to say she somehow made an extra cake, lol. I rushed over there to get it and was so excited! 4 generations of family LOVED this amazing cake she made. Baby, myself, mom, and grandma. It was SO GOOD!!! And exactly what I was looking for - a German chocolate cake with plenty of coconut pecan frosting, and super moist. Terri puts a lot of love into her baking, and it shows. Thank you so much, Terri! ❤️❤️❤️”

“Brioche chocolate bar- The brioche bar is extremely filling, between the brioche is filled with cream and chocolate chips with sea salt sprinkle on top. When you bite into the bar it is soft, but firm. The first thing you will taste is the cream followed by an explosion of chocolate. The sea salt acts as a nice counter balance to all the sweetness, it is like having a taste of soft pretzel. Wonderful work of art, highly recommended to try if first time coming. Chocolate cream puff- More like chocolate cream bomb, the size of the puff will fill the palm of your hands. The puff is filled to the brim with cream where the texture is velvety with just the right amount of sweetness for me. Surrounding puff pastry is extremely soft, biting in you will feel no resistance as in biting onto air. I recommend having extra napkins at the ready because it is going to get messy. I only bought two pastries where it comes in a nice rectangular box with the logo sticker on top. With each pastry having their own sheets for me to grab so my hands wouldn’t get messy. Shanna the owner is extremely friendly and talking to her made the entire experience memorable. For first timers the bakery opens only on the weekend Sat-Sun at 8am-1pm. Most of the bakery is dedicated to baking boot camps for young children learning how to bake. Shanna also hosts private events at the location and creates custom cakes as well. If you are curious about certain items availability please call ahead to make sure because I know the cream puffs will be gone.”

“Best blueberry donuts ever! They do theirs in the style of an old fashioned instead of a cake donut, and it's so much better! My only complaint about their croissant sandwiches is that they are TOO flaky, lol. Can't eat them in the car on my way to work, too much of a mess! 🤪”

“The best, absolutely the best. Their chicken enchiladas are out of this world and no matter how hard I try I will never be able to replicate theirs. Tamales are also delicious and just like grandma would make. Perfect ratio of meat to masa. Hibiscus tea is a must to have with your meal as is their salsa. Prices are reasonable, $6.00 for the enchiladas and you get two. This is one of those places you have to eat at at least once point in your lifetime. I true treasure to the Sacramento area, a hidden gem.”

“I usually never leave reviews but these are the best donuts hands down! Affordable prices too. The best part is that they are the kindest people ever, bless their hearts! It's hard to find that in this day and age. People just want to take your money and run. Go support this small business and give them a try for your donut fix! Great quality & huge variety. You will not be disappointed!”

“We decided to order from Rooftop Macarons for our daughter’s first birthday and it was a huge hit! As a photographer, it was hard not to place them and capture quick flat lay photos! We got three flavours : Strawberry Cheesecake, Blueberry Cheesecake and Vanilla Bean, and they were all so delicious. My daughter’s name on them was the cherry on top, everyone raved about how amazing that was! We served them not only as dessert, but as party favours as well. Communication with the owner was timely and thorough and the booking process was super easy. I definitely recommend Rooftop Macarons for sweet treats at future events.”

“This is easily one of my favorite places to go for breakfast or brunch with family and friends! The customer service is always friendly and polite. While the food is always fresh, hot, and flavorful. All this service and quality for a great price! My go to favorite tends to switch between the sunrise special (two eggs any style served with country potatoes or fruit or sliced tomatoes, toast, plus add on bacon) and morning breakfast (two eggs any style, bacon or chicken apple sausage or ham & slice of french toast, served with country style potatoes). With an iced tea and mimosa to drink, they have flavors (orange, pineapple, cranberry and grapefruit). Check them out sometime, they have indoor and outdoor seating. With the out door even including nice umbrellas to keep the sun off you during the hotter weather.”

“Spacious parking, clean supermarket space. The goods are not as diverse as those of Walmart Center, but in my opinion that is enough. The price is competitive, I like it because of the retail goods, more or less options. In addition to the parking lot, there is a gas station, the price is always cheap and easy for us to buy gas. I often buy online and pick up, convenient and fast.”

“I walked into this place thinking I was going to buy a donut, and I stop dead in my tracks thinking, "wth did I just walk into?!" This place is not a donut tea shop. This is a magical place, full of wonder and unicorn dreams. Two stories of floral explosion and endless imaginative possibilities. This place gives me faith that dreams really do exist, and everyone can be a magical princess on a unicorn, eating a donut and sipping a tea. Pictures can't do it justice. Oh, and the donuts are great.”

“My mom takes me here all the time. Great variety of Asian food. They have fresh fish that they lay on ice. You give it to the worker and they prepare it for you. Sometimes they have live crabs 🦀. You don't have to be Asian to come here! Overall YUM!😋”

“I worked for for Mary Anns Baking Company almost three years... the family atmosphere is what initially intrigued me. The owners and Management care about their employees, and show employees appreciation on a regular basis. The facility was cleaned on a daily basis, uniforms picked up for cleaning and delivered back to employee lockers weekly, vendors always professional and treated respectfully. With that... the company also cares about the customers and always want to provide an excellent product and service. Their product(s)... are delicious!”
