“My kids have both attended this school for both 7th and 8th grade. The teachers are mostly good and the principal is solid. Facilities are clean and functional and the kids get a good education while also having some fun extracurricular options available. This school feeds into the neighboring highly rated Pleasant Grove High School.”

“Excellent School. My daughter was in a regular daycare and we were unhappy with her development and the activities. It was more chaos and busywork than learning. We decided to start looking into Montessori schools and found this one. Boy are we glad we switched. Within the first month my daughters vocabulary and understanding went through the roof. I can now communicate with her with words which is fantastic. They are also helping with potty training. Thank you to Claire and her staff. My daughter loves coming to school and begs to go even on weekends.”

“We've been really happy with our decision to have our kids attend Pinkerton/COHS. The teachers have, overall, been excellent & the extracurricular programs and sports are well run and fun. College prep has been pretty well handled - I feel like we have solid information as our student is applying, and the classes he's taken have helped him both with that & other potential career opportunities.”

“Good school to be in”

“I enjoyed my high school years here. The curriculum is intense, but I'd rather be pushed too hard than not enough. The students here are just like any other high school. Some are cool, some are not. You just have to find the cool people and you're good. I was involved in the Theatre program which is growing more and more. I made a lot of connections with people and met inspiring teachers. This is a good school. You get out what you put in.”

“One of only a few places in town that have a Road-Force Balancer option (to not only spin balance but also balance to compensate for variations in the tire compound affecting the force on the road… and from an engineer and car enthusiast, that’s well worth paying the premium for this kind of balancing option… it’s made my older cars drive as smooth as when they were new, if not better, with no steering wheel vibration / suspension vibration, and it will only help my tie-rods stay tight and last longer). And the only place in town that has a Steve… Steve won me over when he both improved on another shop’s spin balancing and took the time to explain things to me so well when I had questions… and being in a technical field, I had many. Best tire installers I’ve ever had (thanks Steve!). He took great care of the wheels too. Steve also impressed me when he found where the prior shop jerry-rigged a series of plastic zip-ties to replace a proper metal strap that held my older style TPMS sensor to the wheel. And they were very sweet to my kids who joined me there recently (thanks Christine and Greg!).”

“JoAnn is such an amazing person and cello teacher! I'm 21 and have never played an instrument before but it's been my dream to learn to play cello. She is incredibly knowledgeable and extremely caring. She will never make you feel bad for making a mistake. You can tell how passionate she it and it makes learning 10x more fun! I would highly recommend her for anyone at any skill level. Even if you are like me and have 0 musical knowledge!”

“While Sacramento CA City LDS Institute of religion is not an entity of Sacramento City College, It's sole purpose is to serve the students who attend city college. It offers Old and New Testament classes, LDS doctrinal courses, and life skills classes. It has several activities every semester including free soup on Wednesday. There are free games such as air hockey, Foosball and ping pong. It also has two quiet rooms where students can meet together and study for there courses on campus. I have benefited greatly from this fine institution.”

“Love this singing coach! I started getting lessons a few months ago. I tried going to a traditional lesson somewhere else prior and felt so overwhelmed with how/what was being taught I felt hopeless doing things their way. When I talked to David i felt tremendously confident in myself when i sang for the first time. He makes sure all my needs that I felt I wanted to improve were met. He also has taken the patience to teach me the traditional practices but in a way that Im able to still learn the songs I want to learn/focus on and have fun with my style. Thank you much!”

“We love Folsom Goddard! We love their monthly calendar that has theme weeks and dress-up days. The staff is incredible and we appreciate the daily reports we get that detail each of our kids’ days. We appreciate that the school allows for us to communicate via text, email or phone. The school has done a wonderful job of planning events via FaceBook Live so that parents can virtually participate in performances their children put on like holiday singing and such. We are grateful that they hold parent/teacher conferences so that we can get an in-depth update on how our children are progressing. We’d highly recommend Folsom Goddard!”
