Restaurant

“Fun bar at BBMR. Great service by friendly staff! I really liked the old name better. It used to be called the Big Bear Beach Bar! (Or the BBBB) I would encourage management to go back to the old name. A lot of history there :). The bar is in a great location with views of the Half pipes, jib park and a lot of the competitions. Great place for Apres Ski.”

Big Bear Mountain Brewery

Address: 40260 Big Bear Blvd, Big Bear Lake, CA 92315, USA

Restaurant

“Fantastic cozy brewpub with local flavor and incredible food. I had easily the best Cubano sandwich in my life there. The owners (great people) told us they slow cook the Cubano pork shoulder for 24h themselves and it shows. There was great live music when we went (5-7pm Wednesday) from a very talented older gentleman playing covers of Bob Dylan, Crosby, Stills & Nash, and others of that era. He wove entertaining stories in between songs and it made for a great time. There were a few beers on tap: a hazy IPA, red ale, stout, an interesting pastry sour, and one other. Tried the hazy IPA (pretty good and easy to drink), red ale (good), and the stout (alright, unremarkable). Come for the food and ambiance, and as long as you're not expecting 98+ point beers on tap, you'll have a great time.”

Moonridge Coffee Company

Address: 42646 Moonridge Rd, Big Bear Lake, CA 92315, USA

Cafe Restaurant

“I am not sure I have ever waited as long as I did for this coffee. I paid $24 for a pastry, two 20 oz coffees and one 12 oz. While I like the coffee that I got, it does lack flavor slightly. It's above average coffee but absolutely not my favorite. The wait is extremely long and it's not their fault AT ALL. They just simply have a lot of people coming in for coffee and they're doing their best to tackle the orders quickly. I went at 9:30 AM on a Saturday and it honestly took about 30 minutes for me to get my coffee after I waited about 15 to get to my place in line. Again, they have a high demand and I don't know that they should be docked stars for being busy, obviously people like it. They have a large menu with an additional seasonal menu to choose from. I also got a pumpkin spice pastry cake and its pretty tasty. I am here visiting, but if I were here longer, I'd spend more time exploring other coffee shops before I came back here because the wait itself makes this not worth the adventure for me. But I'd gladly come on a day when It was not busy. It also is not a good place to work or study when it is busy because there is a lot of chaos and it gets tightly packed because of all of the customers waiting. Definitely worth trying for the experience and if you have time and maybe have a friend to chat with, make it happen.”

We got the cinnamon crepe (delicious), the complete (amazing), a caramel cold brew per his recommendation and a honey lavender latte. No complaints here and would 10/10 recommend!”

Amangela's Sandwich & Bagel House

Address: 40729 Village Dr, Big Bear Lake, CA 92315, USA

Bakery Restaurant Store

“The Veggie sandwich had outstanding flavor, it was large, very sharable and came with a side portion of potato salad. This summer Tuesday at 11am the crowd was light, no one in line to order. The staff (I saw two) were polite and attentive but not friendly, they were politely transactional. My custom order was taken and delivered to my outside table correctly, after a 15 minute wait. The indoor facility was somewhere between could-have-been-cleaner and clean-enough. The tables were all clean though. Drinking water and plastic cups were available for self-serve. I'll return for the large portion, excellent sandwich. Oh, there's a 4% charge to use your Apple/Google pay or a credit or debit card, which I paid willingly for both sanitation and convenience.”

Restaurant

Stella Luna

Address: 40696 Village Dr, Big Bear Lake, CA 92315, USA

Restaurant

“My first time in Big Bear, kept walking by this place and decided to have lunch here. The service from Taylor was phenomenal. She has great energy and recommended the veggie sandwich. Aside from good beer, the sandwich was the best I’ve had in a long time. The veggies were not soggy, they were tender but crunchy, and the goat cheese tied everything together—along with the house cut fries. We met the owners and it’s clear they care about this business. The decor is Art Deco, with a touch of industrial, and yet it felt homey. We will definitely be back.”

La Pergola Trattoria

Address: 40821 Village Dr, Big Bear Lake, CA 92315, USA

Restaurant

“Delicious Italian food with great service in a wonderful setting. Plenty of seating indoors and out. Everything was clean, we were prompt like seated and our server and host stopped by several times to make sure everything was taken care of. Not cheap, but overall a good value, impressive during a time of supply chain and labor challenges. Plenty of parking nearby in downtown Big Bear. We'll definitely be back.”

Slopeside Speakeasy

Address: 880 Summit Blvd #1270, Big Bear Lake, CA 92315, USA

Restaurant

“Slopeside Speakeasy Definitely a great place to stop at and grab a bite whenever you're at Snow Summit. Now I don't know about you, but after a long day of snowboarding and skiing, your girl is definitely ready for a DRINK! Slopeside Speakeasy is tucked up above a set of the most treacherous stairs (I mean, who wants to continue climbing when they just finished a serious leg workout?!) so if you're ready to brave the heights then it is definitely worth it. Slopeside has an outdoor patio and an indoor dining area. Since it was raining heavily on our visit, we opted to sit indoors and warm ourselves with cocktails. Slopeside is well-known for their extra spicy bloody marys, so if you're into that then even ordering their house vodka is well worth the price of $12.50. I, myself, am a whiskey girl so I ordered a house whiskey ginger for the low price of $8.50 and it was definitely a heavy pour over 2 oz. Since you've probably worked up an appetite, there is also an option for dining here. We ordered the chicken tenders and french fries for $9.50, chili cheese fries for $8, and a slice of pepperoni pizza for $7. The prices aren't terrible and the portions are well within the cost but definitely choose the biggest slice of pizza to justify the purchase! One thing I liked was that they had a self-serve condiment station and fountain machine. Nothing quite like filling up on as many ranch cups and soda drinks to fill 'er up! Overall, would definitely return here if I found myself at Snow Summit again. Hoping that the next time I go, it'll be much more animated since the weather was less than kind to us.”

Hog on the Rocks

Address: 880 Summit Blvd #2110, Big Bear Lake, CA 92315, USA

Restaurant

“We just got drinks there, so I can't speak to the quality of the food. The outdoor bartender was polite and expedient. The drinks were only a little more expensive than average, but with monopoly on mountaintop cocktails, they were more affordable than I expected. Plus, you can't beat the view!”

Village Sports Bar

Address: 40789 Village Dr, Big Bear Lake, CA 92315, USA

Restaurant

“Fun place to come watch sports, especially football on Sunday’s. Service was quick and food came out timely. Restroom is very old and outdated compared to the rest of the building and could definitely be remodeled to match, it looks a little like it’s from the 80’s. My only two downsides were my fries weren’t super hot when they came out, no one likes cold fries. Also, the nachos could use REAL shredded cheese instead of canned nacho cheese, especially for the price. I do like the refill station for soda instead of waiting for a server to attend to my empty glass. I would come again!”

Mountain Munchies

Address: 42171 Big Bear Blvd, Big Bear Lake, CA 92315, USA

Restaurant

“This is an excellent little restaurant in Big Bear. First off, I cannot emphasize enough how on-point the service is. They were apologizing for shorter delays shorter than most restaurants would even have. Second, the food is awesome! It may be hard to mess up pancakes or french toast, but it's also hard to elevate them, and yet they did just that. Also, their sausages are light and not greasy, and I loved their hot chocolate. Will definitely come back if I'm in the area”

They are busy on the weekends but definitely worth the wait. Highly recommend! The attached pictures are the reuben and the bacon ranch cheeseburger.”

Wyatt's Grill and Saloon

“Don't believe Yelp! This place is super dog friendly! They are super kind to our dogs and the beer and live music are great. There are square dancing nights during the week. Thanks Yelp! You screwed up! We would have been here yesterday!”

Red Baron Pizza

Address: 42173 Big Bear Blvd, Big Bear Lake, CA 92315, USA

Restaurant

“Stopped in on a long day of riding. Worth the time. The place was busy but we didn't wait long. We got a small combo pizza and a couple of side salads, which were fresh and well proportioned. The small pizza was packed and as hungry as we were, we had to leave behind a slice. Great tasting heavy slices and very friendly staff. Definitely can recommend!”
