This is not the place if you want organic healthy food, but rather a place for good 'ole diner food. I'm giving this restaurant a five star mostly because of the service with a smile! The staff is very attentive! I ordered the International Sandwich, which is a BLT with turkey. It hit the spot! My husband ordered the patty melt. It was a bit greasy, but he said it was tasty! “Tl;dr: Screw those other guys, I wanted someone to talk to about my tiny issue, and these folk were the only ones willing to listen. Called these fine folks on the off-chance I could get my beat-up (literally worthless) guitar fixed, I spent a good day calling around, asking any business I could about ANYONE open to offering even the most BASIC of woodworking skills, just to fix this guitar that anyone else would call straight garbage. These folks [with more expertise than you'd guess (hint: an actual luthier on the payroll)] saw the state it was in, listened to what I wanted done (as barbaric as it was), and simply said YES. My word, you wont get service like this from any major business out there nowadays. These are some fine folks here, personable, willing to listen to your problems, they'll meet you in person at their shop and take a good long look at your problem, I'll be damned if there ain't at least ONE person there that specializes in what you're looking for. I still have trouble thinking an honest-to-god luthier might be working here. I can't imagine how lucky I was to call this place after the 3-4 other places in Hesperia gave me a straight out 'NO'. Screw those guys, I wanted someone to talk to about my tiny issue, and these folks were the only ones willing to listen. UPDATE: my old guitar sounds brand new, and I truly couldn't be happier”

“My wife and I have been wanting to check this place out for some time and finally had a chance on Easter with the kids. Our initial thought of the interior when we walked in was that it was underwhelming. Nonetheless, we weren’t really there for the decor so much as we were there for drinks and food. Upon asking our waitress what alcohol they served, I was surprised in her response, which she informed us that they did not yet have their liquor license and therefore did not sell alcohol. At this point I was tempted to leave, but thought, well, let’s at least try the food. To our surprise it was “WOW”. Sure we didn’t have the alcohol (which is the only reason I’m giving them a 4 out of 5), but their Green Mussel (Larger then the Black Mussel), Raw Oysters, and fried Calamari were equally as good as the San Pedro Fish Market Restaurant, and much closer. For our little ones we ordered chicken tenders which were large enough for our 3 and 4 year olds to share. They were also very good. All-in-All, great seafood, and I would recommend this to anyone not wanting to make the drive to Long Beach, San Pedro, or any coastline restaurants. Just keep in mind that this place serves NO alcohol. Update: We just revisited this location and they now serve alcohol, however, when we ordered on tap the drinks were room temperature. The waitress said they had just gotten the kegs the night before, which may explain why it was room temperature. Nonetheless, I’d have to go back and see if that improves. Food is still awesome, service is mediocre at best. My wife and I are typically very generous tippers, especially with great service. This time around we were never asked if we wanted refills or more drinks/food. We didn’t leave her a tip. Anyone in the service industry has to realize a tip is not mandatory, and is dependent on the level of service you provide to the customer. Anyway, great food… not so good service.”

“Excellent doctor. I've going to him since my high school days - for at least 10 years...maybe more. He used to work across the street at Sears but started his own practice. Anyway, Dr. Lu is very friendly and personable. He always makes time for my last minute visits. One time, I woke up with a bad infection, I could barely open my eyes. I managed to find his email online and emailed asking if he could possibly see me before I went to work that morning. Indeed he agreed to see me several hours before opening. No, he is not a "personal friend" but rather a genuine guy. More recently, he quickly refunded me for some services my insurance covered. Excellent doctor, excellent place.”

“This is the second time I purchased cookies from this place. I have to say the cookies they make are very good and original, true to the flavor. My first cookie was a butterscotch and my second one was chocolate cream pie. Everyday they make different cookies. Is it worth the price? I guess for a special occasion or gifts. You can buy or make a chocolate cream pie and get a whole pie to share with the family. I am not sure what chocolate cream pie goes for now a days, so I don't know if the pie or the cookie is less expensive. But you get a lot more pie. I am not sure why this place does not "WOW" me. Why not visit a location and you could decide. Everyone should make a decision for themselves about this place. I might still be on the fence about this place. I do like their creativity. You can get four cookies for about $20.00. Good size cookies.”
