“Like many people, I bought a gym membership because I wanted to lose some weight and get in better shape. I used the gym a few times but then stopped going because I was bored and didn’t really know what to do and wasn’t seeing any results. I was skeptical at first because even though I wasn’t working out, I figured I could do it on my own, so I tried going back to the gym. I like that quote that says insanity is doing the same thing repeatedly and expecting different results. Well, after another two months of paying for a membership that I wasn’t using, I finally gave Proactive Evolution a call. The owner instantly made me feel at ease. He answered all my questions about personal training, nutrition, and fitness without ever making me feel like I was asking a stupid question (and looking back at how much I didn’t know, I’m sure I asked quite a few). Now, six months later the experience just keeps getting better. The workouts are challenging, but the way they are structured, I get to choose how hard to push myself. Some days, I feel like going all in, and some days I allow myself to slack off a little. Still, since I like to challenge myself, I always go away feeling like I got the best workout possible. There’s always lots of High-Fives, smiles, encouragement and at the end of the hour some pretty sweaty clothes. Thanks to the positive vibe and the great training, I’ve achieved more than I ever thought possible. The best compliment I can give for all that motivation and expert training came when I took off my sweatshirt as I was sitting down to dinner with a friend who I hadn’t seen me in several months.
