“Like many have said, the location makes Riviera Inn perfect. It is not fancy but maintained. We stayed on the second floor and if it is a hot spell, you might want to b on the bottom floor. There are not many luxury features. We were there to explore and enjoy the beaches. The Inn serves full time residents also and has quiet hours starting at 8pm. We enjoyed chatting with the local residents at the pool and got some good tips.”

“This facility was always clean. I never had any problems getting to my unit. It was very easy to get ahold of a staff member during office hours. They were always kind and professional. They contacted me immediately the one time I followed a car in to ensure I opened my unit and not a stranger. I didn’t even know that was a thing. Great security.”

“What an amazingly gorgeous spot! The views are stunning and the lodge is done up in a beautiful way. Everyone is extremely polite and helpful when you need them. The bar was a pleasant experience with many drink options and interesting cocktails. They're reasonably priced for the location and pack a punch to make the cost worth it. Definitely a nice spot to take a date and just walk around.”

In fact, during the check-in, the staff was very kind and professional. We got a very nice and quiet room, which faced the central yard....( the facility is beautiful). “Location is awesome right across from the cove where the seals and sea lions are. And the water of course. there's a couple pools and jacuzzis I love the setup of the place is a little over the place but it's really awesome. I love staying there. My one complaint is there is no coffee maker”

“I have only wonderful things to say about the Pantai Inn! It’s basically a dreamy, beautiful oasis right along the La Jolla coast! My husband and I hosted our intimate wedding at the Pantai last February. Wow! we were amazed by the gorgeous/clean grounds and inn rooms as well as the helpful customer service. Also, the breakfast is delicious! On the day of our wedding, we had very rainy weather and needed an inside option asap. The Pantai staff helped us transition everything indoors with such ease and hospitality. Thank you to all the Pantai Staff (Marc and Chelsea you are amazing!) you truly made our weekend special and care-free!! I highly recommend you to all my family and friends!”

“This is a great hotel. I live in the area so I've never stayed there, but friends have and say it's great, and I have snuck into their pool multiple times, and have to agree. The location is great, both next to the beach and plenty of good restaurants. The pool is heated and they also have a hot tub and free snow cones sometimes. The employees are nice, even when they are kicking you out when you're not supposed to be there. Also, they let us keep our snow cones when they did.”

“I am sold. I would not stay anywhere else except for this one if I visit San Diego ever again. The crew is so welcoming. The cottages are so beautiful equipped with all necessary things. Our private lawn was so awesome that I was hesitating to go out and explore any other places in that city. Worth the price. I am glad i found this cute stay! :)”

You can walk down to the main strip where there are some nice shops and great places to eat. I would stay here again. They also have bikes you can ride at no charge, nice morning rides... ????????”
