“This is a hidden treasure. They have a grand recreational area that you can rent out and have huge events. Indoor tennis courts, basketball area and other activities you can play. The facilities are clean and bathrooms are conveniently close. Full connections and they even have stagecoach rooms you can rent out. I’m surprised the occupancy here is very low. I went on a holiday and it was about 20% full. I loved it.”

“Working with the team at Old Fashioned Lumber was an excellent experience. We designed and made so many amazing pieces - each more unique than the next. They were able to work with the trees I had milled from my property up in Malibu that had burned down. “One of my favorite local resorts, hard to believe this gorgeous place is in the middle of Rancho Bernardo's residential area on a beautiful golf course. Even for a Monday night the place was busy, and as golfers came in at the end of the afternoon, the outdoor restaurant area filled up. Live music was playing and the service was great. I also have a spa only saltwater pool as well as a family pool in the main area. We are locals but decided to stay for a fun one night staycation. I have been plenty of times before for the spa, for dinners and lunches, as well as a few company Christmas parties during the holiday season. During the holidays it's also decorated beautifully with Christmas trees, rolling fireplaces and strong lights. Love staying here!”
