“I've been a student (intermittently) here since 2010. As someone that loves learning and the overall "school" atmosphere, I feel extremely fortunate that I get to be a student at Palomar College; "lucked out", I would say. The teachers are magnificent and have the potential to change your life forever (I know a few that have for me already*). You can get help with enrollment fees with through the BOG Waiver - all my classes end up being free because of it. Parking permits 1/2 off also. The school is modern and always improving. Their buildings are stylish and unlike anything I've seen anywhere else. Each is unique, yet somehow they all come together to form a beautiful campus. I truly look at this campus like a second home. I love going here. (Parking can suck, that's a big reason why I try to only stick to night classes 🤓) ➡️ HOWEVER! They now have a brand new parking GARAGE! I haven't used it yet, as I am only doing evening classes, but I can only imagine how much it helps everyone be able to find parking! It is nice to know that they actually do care about the problems we face throughout college life & do what they can to help make it as comfortable & as enjoyable as possible! UPDATE (3/19/18)!! I started using the parking garage and it is AWESOME!!! Security cameras coming soon! This school keeps on getting better and better!! 'Safety' is also another big thing here that they take seriously. They make sure to inform us students on a regular (& when, if necessary) basis all the details regarding our options when it comes to being and staying safe throughout our education at Palomar. They have their own (actual/legit) police force that is on duty 24/7 & a direct emergency line to call any hour day or night. They provide free escorts to anyone needing or just wanting a little extra piece of mind walking to their car or anywhere around campus. Every class locks from the inside by a button next to the teacher's phone that keeps anyone from getting in in case of an active shooter or anything else putting students at harm, & when they lock, it sends a signal to the Palomar Police with the location of the room, etc. etc. I could go on but you get it, they care & work hard to keep us safe! 🤗 * AJ Professor Jack Hook, AJ Professor Leeyann Chapman, COMM Professor Wendy Nelson & LS Professor Lisa Burns; just to name a few! ;)”

“I have nothing but love for Greenwood Healthcare College. April and her staff were outstanding in all areas. English is not my birth language and I sometimes have difficulty understanding new subjects especially if the teacher doesn't speak clearly or uses slang. I could always understand April like she was someone I've known all my life, I can understand her English better than my husband's (lol he was born in San Diego). This school had the best prices AND quality instruction. I plan I using Greenwood for all my continuing healthcare education and I highly recommend that you do too.”

“Had a very positive experience with this recruiting station, very dedicated and very patient team willing to work with you on whatever your concerns might be. The staff was informative through my entire process and stuck with me through many complications to get me where I had hoped to be. If you are within reach of this station and have interest in the Army this is without a doubt the place for you!”

“Being a student in the school, this school is of course a private school, funded by the students and the sponsoring churches. there are many aspests of the school that should be changed, but there are also many that are great. the small classes allow students to create lasting friendships, with multiple people, unlike in public schools with only a select few. groups are very close and tightly knitted, but many welcome new kids. the academic programs aren’t on par as public schools, but it provides opportunities for students to shine and readies them for college with hard work. the sports programs are solid, despite the need of coaches. some teachers must be removed in my humble opinion, but a few of the teachers are extremely professional and good with their jobs. however, some teachers are close-minded, and some of the faculty do not allow the students to have as much enjoyment out of older events, due to their opinion of safety issues. this school is for those who are looking for a safe haven, close friendships, and a place to express freely about religion. Lol”

“Nice and new, has ocean view; I like how each building has its own color (blue, green, etc) and each pair of floors has its own shade of the building color. The floor is plain concrete, which is easy to clean but always looks dirty. Also, the toilet rooms are massive for some reason”

“Being a student at Montessori Institute of San Diego has been one of the best things that happened to me. Ms Cristina is so knowledgeable and her lectures has been incredibly touching and full of knowledge. Thank you for being my trainer. “The Live from your heart series has been amazing and a real life line for me. Being able to quiet my mind long enough to restore balance is truly a gift and this series is doing it. In this age, especially, being connected to heart can be challenging. We don't realize how much stress it can put on our minds, bodies, and souls. This can interfere with sound decisionmaking as well as rob us of the abundant joy and peace we could have. This is Heaven sent. I can't wait for the event in March!”

“My experience with Provectus was hands down second to none. I’ve trained with a few different instructors at different training facilities, and the experience, instructor knowledge, and coaching I received was top notch. Rather than trying to fit a student into their program, they fit their program around what I needed. I trained for my CFI with Provectus. The experience and instruction I received was so positive and impactful, I decided to come back and work towards my CFII. They offer great post flight debrief’s and feedback, which I really liked. They were very communicative, and quick to respond when initially planning my training. I can’t recommend them enough. Scott and Megan work very hard to be the best at what they do!”

“Great training facility at the Ramona airport. I received my private pilot’s license here and I am moving on to my instrument rating. All the CFI’s in this program are very professional, fun to work with and super helpful! The aircraft in the fleet are very clean and well maintained. The classroom and offices are always clean and available for studying. If you are interested in flight training, look no further!”

“This place is an amazing little theater that puts on incredibly well crafted performances, both by adult professional actors, many from manhattan, and a very strong core of student actors that they train in acting and signing programs there. It's close, its inexpensive, it's easy to park and it's a great night out. You can even BYOB at evening performances of the professional shows on some weekends. Check out their site and see what's coming next. I've seen some incredible shows there.”

“The best college at UCSD - Pros: GE requirements aren't difficult and there aren't as many vs other colleges; prime location; caring administration and RAs; new dining hall; late night food options; mission (scholar and citizen) and general vibe. Cons: the marshall "uppers" & "lowers" (apartments) aren't great. The "lowers" especially have had bug and animal problems for a few years now and the age of the buildings definitely shows. Marshall is an awesome college to be in, but try to actually live somewhere else.”

“I am updating my review to reflect a current change in service that Mr. Andrew Kaplan was able to give me. To be exact, he was able to take care of every issues that I had and he even went the extra mile to help me and for that I will always be very thankful of the school for doing!! Aside from the recent help, the education that the school provides is above all expectations for me and that has always been the case! I mean, if you want education that is relevant to the industry and from teachers that have a lot of experience on the job then UCSD Extension is the way to go! I mean, this school literally gives everyone the chance to be able to pursue their dreams without having to apply to expensive graduate programs at other schools and going through all of the red tape! On top of that, this school offers both in class as well as online programs that are specifically meant for working professionals to have the chance to go back to school in order to fine tune their schools! I cannot think of a single school in the area or even outside that has invested so much in local students the way UCSD has done so and for this I will always thank them because they have opened a lot of doors for me that were otherwise no open before! Again, this school's sole purpose is to give working professionals a second chance to go back to school at an affordable price to study what ever they want and this is clearly a game changer in the industry!”

“Briksam’s Daycare is one of the best things that happened in our lives. My child gets really happy and excited when she goes there. The place is safe for children, very clean. I know that my child is well taking care off every time I drop her off Briksam’s Daycare. I send my daughter almost every day and she is always available and reliable. I highly recommend this day care. I give it a 5 star .”

“I went to 3 different tcm schools. By far this is the most professional school I’ve been to and most comprehensive program I’ve been in. Not only they are adept at Chinese medicine they also have a great orthopedic program based on Chinese medicine and orthopedic medicine combined . Out of all the schools I’ve been to pacific college also has a great massage therapy program based on Tui Na (Medical Massage). If you’re looking for a good school this is the place I would highly recommend.”

“I still do recommend ATA College if you want a career change and you love programming. You will want to have experience programming BEFORE you enter; try taking classes before applying. That being said, self-learning will NOT be comparable to what you'll learn here. You'll learn at a VERY accelerated pace here. Learn enough to code up some algorithms, then apply here.”

“I trained at Helistream in San Diego to become a flight instructor and I can affirm without any doubts that it has been the most valuable experience of all my flight training: the professionalism and quality of instruction are unmatched. The helicopters are maintained (everyday) as they came out of the factory the day before, which represents the high level of safety that you will experience by training with them! Look no further: this is the place where you want to learn to fly! Paolo Caglio, CFII”
