“Whoever gave this place a 1 start is completely wrong. I’ve come here at least once a week and the food in amazing. Pricy but the taste is totally worth it! The spicy pork specifically is always super tasty and juicy. The salad has a sweet/citrus dressing that works so well with the meat. The rice does have a different consistency but definitely not clay like. It’s still very good. Would highly recommend for anyone in the area.”

“I accompanied a family member to have mohs surgery by Dr Miller this morning. The office was clean, very pleasant and comfortable. The staff were welcoming and friendly. They offered me coffee or tea when I first arrived. Dr Miller has a wonderful way with the patient, explaining every step and going all out to assure the patient. Her assistants were professional, competent and warm. Dr Miller called us later in the day to make sure everything was fine. Wonderful care, in the heart of silicon valley, a very pleasant surprise!”

After working with Menlo Park City Planning Department on two major home remodels, my contractor and I can not overstate the professionalism of Menlo Park Planning Department (which is both the heart and future of a city) . Some years ago I was in Starbucks in Sharon Heights and found myself talking to the people at the next table. The couple was trying to decide which of two properties to buy that day. I asked which city(s) were involved. I was told Palo Alto and Menlo Park. I told them that the choice was a 'no brainer!" I have several friends from Palo Alto who have relaided horror stories to me of how the Planning department worked. The City of Menlo Park employees remember 'who pays their salary'- the taxpayer. I have found in the past 18 years it is a joy to live in Menlo Park. NB: I personally am not impacted by FaceBook and all the positives and negatives the city is experiencing from the company moving here”

“I took piano lessons from a few other teachers, but they simply didn't make learning interesting and made piano feel like a chore. Alita made piano feel fun and rewarding from the very first day. She goes out of her way to make learning interesting for the student, which keeps them engaged and happy to learn. She is experienced with teaching both adults and children, as well as beginner and advanced skill levels. I stayed with her for several years, progressing from a beginner to an advanced player, and classes stayed fun and engaging the entire time. I feel it speaks to her skill as a teacher that she managed to turn me from someone who was disinterested in piano to someone who is interested in it.”

“What a hidden gem! Solid American-Mexican food served in a homey setting that slightly feels like a 70s diner. Really friendly service and the portions are generous! I loved the grilled sea bass plate and the taco salad, which was lightly dressed even without me having to ask! There were plenty of folks there but we were seated right away at 12:30pm on a Friday. “Once again I must say how happy I am with my quality of care I receive from the VA. Last week it was a 35 minute phone appointment with my primary care doctor. Don't laugh but you'll never guess her name. It's Dr. Grant! If I ever forget her name I'm in big trouble. I've been having problems with my hearing aids. I SAID 'TROUBLE WITH MY HEARING AIDS'. Get it! I was in and out in 25 minutes. Back to being fully operational. The best part is that the VA keeps the amount of people in the facility very low. In this case there is safety in low numbers. Not to mention they have installed additional air filtration in the building I visited. My fellow veteran's and I are getting top notch care! Thanks”

“The place is fine. A small eatery without much of ambience there. The servers aren't quite trained and their English and communication is just passable. The mex veg uttapam was slightly undone. They give a small amount of chutney and when asked for more they give another tiny amount. I felt that Madras cafe wins in this regard. The filter coffee was good but not strong. They add a service tax already but that is not obvious when they show you just the final bill amount. I feel that I paid tip for no reason then.”
