Muttley’s Playhouse

Melissa is awesome. Our dog is happy to be there. She's personally involved with the dogs she cares for. There's room for them to roam. Super happy we found Muttley's Playhouse!

Obie loves Melissa more than he loves us but that’s okay because we know Melissa loves Obie too. We tried a few other dog sitting services before finding Melissa and they were all unreliable. One left for a party and my dog was locked in a closet when I arrived to pick him up. Another one wasn’t awake at 8am when we arrived for drop-off. The bar to succeed was pretty low after that, but Melissa so far exceeded the bar that we’re spoiled for any other pet sitter ever. We’ve moved out of the SM area and still drive to Muttley’s Playhouse instead of finding somewhere more convenient because of the incredible care we know Obie receives.

My dog Mulligan stayed with Melissa while we were moving between houses. She was very responsive, sent lots of cute videos and pictures, and Mulligan obviously loved her! Would definitely use her services again.

Melissa is wonderful and her backyard is perfect for our energetic rescue! Her flexibility and love for dogs is a perfect match. We had a family emergency and tried 10+ different daycares and Melissa responded within 20minutes with arms wide open.

We had previously tried several commercial day schools which didn’t give our 6month rescue enough attention. He is super shy and nervous of people and it is unbelievable to see the change in his behavior after 2 full day sessions with Melissa and the other pack of dogs.

He has now began to give attention to Melissa and has started giving strangers kisses. Whatever water Melissa gives them must have magic!

Even better he is wiped out completely after the day. Thank you!!

I absolutely recommend this place. I’m a fairly protective dog owner and I feel completely safe and comfortable leaving my doggy here. I am consistently updated on how my dogs doing with videos.I get to go through my day with a sense of relief knowing my dog is doing well. Besides being extremely kind and sweet, Melissa knows a lot about how animals behave and does a great job managing all types of dogs. My dog gets excited when we pull into the driveway and has a great time staying here. :)
