Facility is beautiful and group exercise is strong --Ronda is the gold standard; amazing Body Pump, Core, and Spin classes!! Her cueing is fab, great form, provides the right modification advice, and she's hilarious. Angela is also wonderful; super energy and always right on point with exercises that are good for us, safe, and engaging. TY!
I drive quite a ways to take my child to go to this YMCA. Specifically because the lessons are in small classes. In addition the management is exceptionally responsive. With every lesson my daughter has progressed at a steady pace. And when she isn’t ready they help build her confidence so that when she is ready she is a confident swimmer. She is developing a love for swimming. Which is really second to what these lessons are supposed to do. The original intent of course is to save oneself in the water. At the Northwest YMCA, yes learning to swim is a priority but learning to love swimming is the ultimate prize.
We like the indoor pool. The shallow end of the pool is very friendly to new swim learning kids. The group class setting is also helpful for kids to conquer the fear of water.
The child care here the people the e gym, the trainers the equipment just everything here is better! They need more funding so that they can have more days where child Care is open but other than that everything here is better! In my opinion
