“During the mid-nineties a Miltech Winchester M1carbine was send to me via an FFL holder near me. The weapon was absolutely flawless upon receipt. However after a couple of my military officer buddies and I fired several clips of 110 grain ammo at 1970 fps - - - - a small flaw developed in the wood stock above the trigger housing. The owner's wife - very graciously - listened to my telephone call description of the issue, said "Return the stock" - - - - - and a few days later I had a like new stock - - - that somehow matched the wood on the hand guard Martin J. Caine CDR USNR (RET.)”

“For hot pot, it's pretty good. You really need the sauces for this because even though the soups are very tasty, because the food is essentially just boiled and doesn't soak it in such a short time. Seafood combo comes with a large platter of veggies. But the best meat is the fatty Kobe beef. It cools in about 30 seconds and is tender and buttery. We had the mushroom soup and the pork bone broth soup. Very good. Also comes with soft serve ice cream dessert.”

“Lived with family for an year before moving out of California. Positives: Location of the apartment is very convenient. Great school district if your kid goes to lottery schools. Very close to parks and trails. Management and maintenance staff is very responsive and friendly. Amenities are well maintained and upscale. Pool, Gymnasium and lawns are very neat and outstanding. The community has great social group and the proactive updates from management team make the community much sought after. One downside I can think of is that some apartments facing the street are exposed to traffic noise.”

She also caught convergence insufficiency in our youngest child (something that is commonly misdiagnosed as dyslexia) and referred us to Dr Kageyama. Nearly a decade later and he is doing just fine.
